Kylie Jenner Causes Major Controversy Over Holiday Decorations
The Kardashian and Jenner sisters definitely know how to decorate for Christmas. However, after sharing a video of her tree and other decorations in her mansion, Kylie Jenner is catching a massive amount of heat for how wasteful she is being. Keep reading to find out what fans had to say.
Kylie Jenner Gets Hate
On her Instagram, Kylie Jenner is showing off just how excited she is for Christmas. The star posted a reel that features multiple areas in her house, fully decked out for the holiday. This includes a massive Christmas tree full of ornaments and giant, oversized nutcrackers greeting everyone who comes to her house. She also shared clips of her daughter, Stormi, decorating and getting all ready for Christmas.
She captioned the video, thanking the team that decorated her house. “Favorite time of year. 🎄 thank you to my christmas angels @jeffleatham & team.”
While the video is very jolly, her comment section isn’t. According to Radar Online, fans were shocked by the amount of decorations that she has not only this year but every year. It would seem that Kylie buys all new decorations every holiday season, creating quite a large amount of waste every single year.
“This level of opulence is absurdly wasteful! I don’t know why I’m surprised every time,” one person writes.
Others chime in, agreeing with how wasteful Kylie Jenner and her whole family are all of the time.
“They need to do an episode where they sit down with ecologists and calculate their carbon footprints in relation to the average American then compare both those numbers to the world average not including the average American’s pollutant output then show America’s pollutant output as a continent in relation to that of the rest of the world,” someone else says.

What Do They Do When They Are Done?
The other question fans have is what exactly Kylie is doing with the decorations after she’s done. While she could definitely donate the items, there’s also a good chance she is just throwing them away. In the comments, people also also point out that generally, families do tend to keep the same decorations year over year instead of buying new ones.
“Yeah, what do they do with all that crap after they’re done with it? I’ve had the same xmas tree and decorations for 6 years.”
Of course, Kylie has yet to speak out on her decorations, and it’s likely she never will. After all, this isn’t the first time Kylie has flaunted her wealth with her over-the-top mansion.
