‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Rips Sunny Hostin For Doing Her Job
Fans seemed in an uproar last week when Sunny Hostin had to read a legal disclaimer on The View. However, this was after someone shared it on social media. What those people don’t know is that Sunny reads these all the time because it is a requirement for the show. However, Whoopi Goldberg just dragged Sunny for doing her job this week.
Here is what happened and why it seems so strange.
Whoopi Goldberg Drags Sunny Hostin On The View
Last week, the women of The View were talking about legal issues for a politician when Whoopi Goldberg reminded Sunny Hostin she had to read a legal disclaimer. When a political pundit saw this, they shared it on social media, mocking Sunny. What they don’t know is that Sunny reads these all the time because it’s her job.
This week, Sunny was back at it again, doing her job and following the orders from the executives. However, while Whoopi told her to do it last week, this week, Whoopi acted like it was wasting time. It made no sense whatsoever to Sunny.
Whoopi brought up Pete Hegseth on The View. He is supposed to be the nominee for Secretary of Defense for Donald Trump. However, he has several allegations against him. These include the allegations that he has abused several women, and the hosts discussed these issues.
Sunny Hostin then began to read the legal disclaimer since it is required. She read that a person who made the allegations had recanted them. However, when the off-camera crew tried to wrap up the segment, Whoopi said Sunny wouldn’t “be that quick.”
After Sunny finished reading the disclaimer, she said, “You rushed me for that?”
The View Fans Enjoy The Back-And-Forth
After this happened, several fans took to social media to discuss the entire back-and-forth between Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin on The View.

While it does seem strange to see Sunny Hostin reading the legal disclaimers after discussions, it also seems strange that other news and opinion shows don’t do so as well.

I didn’t realize that Whoopi was the owner of that show. Since when does she call all the shots. Haven’t been a big fan of the show and this is exactly why. Whoopi needs to go away. The world is trying to change, she is trying to hold onto the past .
