Kourtney Kardashian’s Blood-Red Christmas Trees Spook Fans
Reality star Kourtney Kardashian recently showed fans how she’s getting into the Christmas spirit. Taking to social media, the star shared photos and video of her holiday decorations this season. However, some of the star’s choice ended up unnerving some fans.
Kourtney Kardashian Welcomed Fans Into Her Home For The Holidays
In a recent post on her Instagram account, simply captioned “Hello December,” Kourtney Kardashian shared a series of photos and videos of how she decorated her home for Christmas. The post opened up with a large green tree covered in lights backdropped against a white room.
However, this wasn’t the only tree Kourtney featured in her post. The star’s multi-million-dollar home seemed just filled with trees.
Despite starting things off with a more traditional evergreen tree, she also showcased a red tree covered in lights. This time, unlike the previous green and white contrast, the photo oozed red. Not only was the floor covered in poinsettias, but the tree was also surrounded by trees holding up red balloons.
The star then shared a video showing a room that contained six red Christmas trees, broken up into two sets of three. This time, the trees added contrast to a white room, all the while covered in lights.
Another included video featured a similar setup with green trees. This time, however, the main attraction was a series of climbing “elves on the shelf” dolls hanging from the ceiling.
Other photos included Kourtney herself holding a snow globe, a visit from Santa Claus, an upside-down Christmas tree, and a tree covered with artificial snow. The post was ended with an old photo of a traditional family Christmas tree laden with presents.
The U.S. Sun noted that Kourtney has multiple homes within the United States, including ones in Palm Springs and Santa Barbara. She and her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, reside in a $9.5 million home in Calabasas.
Some Fans Loved The Red Trees, While Others Were Scared
However, as the publication noted, some fans ended up getting spooked by some of the photos. Many fans shared their love of the red trees. However, some found it scary.
One user wrote, “The all red is sick.” Another said that it gave them “redrum vibes,” reminding them of a famous quote from The Shining.

The upside-down Christmas tree also ended up spooking quite a few fans. One fan wrote that, “The upside Christmas tree is creepy,” Another wrote that “it denotes a demonic element.”
One user even wrote, “That looks like a mausoleum.” However, some fans were more complimentary. As one person wrote, “Beautiful trees. I especially love the red trees. The simplicity behind your decor is amazing. Why crowd these beautiful trees with ornaments when all you need is lights to accentuate [its] beauty! Well done.”
