Meet The Singles From 'Later Daters' On Netflix

A new show was added to Netflix on November 29th. Later Daters is an eight-episode dating show following six singles in their 50s, 60s, and 70s. The first season of this show focuses on four women and two men: Anise, Lori, Pam, Suzanne, Greg, and Nate.

Obama’s Netflix Deal

Michelle Obama is an Executive Producer for this new dating show for singles between 56 and 70 years old.

The Obamas created Higher Ground Productions to produce storytelling content and entered into a multi-year agreement with Netflix in 2018. They promised to release a mixture of scripted and unscripted media available to Netflix viewers in 190 countries.

Meet the Singles

Dating Coach Logan Ury completed an assessment for each single with their family members and loved ones in their homes. This is to see what’s missing from their life and what’s been holding them back in the love department. Coach Ury set dating goals. Then she gave each contestant advice on navigating the dating process for the singles in today’s era. Some of them have not dated with recent technologies.

Anise, 62, a marketing executive, and mother of two. She was widowed when her children were young and is now ready to date again since they are grown.

Suzanne, 63, an optometrist and mother of three, whose vibrancy is beaming through the screen, is capturing the hearts of her dates and the viewers.

Nate, 56, retired paratrooper, father of two, divorced, and best friends with the mother of his first child, lives in a self-proclaimed Man Cave and is looking for a partner for the next chapter of his life.

Pam, 70, a former flight attendant, married and widowed twice, lives in a rural country home with her granddaughter, their animals, and loads of memorabilia that Ury calls a “shrine to the past”.

Lori, 57, behavior coach & media consultant, a divorced mother of two keeps herself busy rubbing elbows with celebrities on the red carpet but is ready to find love again.

Greg, 61, construction business owner, divorced dad of 2. He is tired of dating apps and getting ghosted, ready to let the matchmakers set him up with some candidates for him to build a solid foundation.
