New Show This Holiday Season: ‘Harry Potter’s: Wizards of Baking’

Milwaukee Baker Kimberly Adams, the owner of Signature Sweets, has been using her powers of transfiguration since 2010. She made her manager a birthday cake in the shape of a toilet while working at her 9-5 office job. That was her first time sharing her powers outside her family & now she’s set to compete with all the other Muggles on Food Network‘s Harry Potter‘s: Wizards of Baking.
Hogwarts: Where Imagination is Transformed into Reality On Harry Potter’s: Wizards of Baking
This Holiday Special is hosted by none other than Fred & George Weasley, of course! Twins Jamie and Oliver Phelps will be taking time off from Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes to present this six-week series filmed in London.

Teams of pastry chefs will compete in fantastical challenges and is judged by fan-favorite Carla Hall and the legendary Jozef Youssef, a highly acclaimed Chef from London.
The show will feature fan favorites such as Bonnie Wright, the actress who played Ginny Weasley will judge the bakers’ cakes& other treats. Also, Evanna Lynch, or Luna Lovegood for the Potterheads, will grace the show with her charms. In addition, Warwick Davis, Dueling Champion Professor Flintwick will join the cast to judge the Wizard’s bakes.
Adams is self-taught. Recently, she went to culinary school to improve her cake skills. Her team partner, Ashley Cardona, is a French-trained Pastry Chef & shares a similar passion for potions class. They will compete against 8 other teams from around the world to claim the Win.
She teaches in the Milwaukee Public Schools and utilizes a commercial kitchen to make her cakes. In addition, she is on the pastry arts board at Milwaukee Area Technical College and is currently creating a curriculum for next year.
Adams has appeared on many baking shows, including “Cupcake Wars,” “Sugar Dome,” “Holiday Wars,” and “Halloween Wars.”
“I love art, and being able to express myself with my cakes is one of the things I enjoy most about baking.”
Adams was not able to go into detail about the competition but she said it was fun. Also, it was one of the most challenging competitions she’s ever participated in.
“I’ve never gone through an audition process like this ever in my life,” she said. “And I’ve done several shows before. This one was very rigorous.”

To win, the teams will need to use artistry and imagination worthy of the Harry Potter Universe. The show is filmed on the Harry Potter real Sets of Warner Bros in London—fans will get to see the desserts presented amongst Platform 9¾, Diagon Alley, The Great Hall, and many more.
The baking show premieres on November 14th at 7 p.m. EST and will be available for streaming on Max. You don’t want to miss this new show and see all the amazing things they are going to come up with.
