Justin Timberlake Tour Canceled Over Star’s Health Concerns
Pop star Justin Timberlake just shared some unfortunate news with fans. Due to health concerns, he is canceling a planned tour stop. Sharing the news with fans on social media, this isn’t the first time the star had to change his tour schedule over health issues.
The Planned Show Was Set For Oklahoma City
Timberlake first rose to fame as a member of the boyband NSYNC. Starting in the 2000s, he went on to pursue a career as a solo artist.
Some of Timberlake’s notable songs include “Cry Me a River” and “What Goes Around… Comes Around.” He has also had a notable career as an actor, notably voicing Branch in Dreamworks’ Trolls franchise.
Unfortunately, the singer recently had to cancel an upcoming show in Oklahoma City on December 2. Timberlake shared the news and the reasons why on Instagram.
The star shared, “I’m so sorry Oklahoma City…I have to cancel the show on 12/2. I hurt my back in Nola and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer. Thank you for your support — y’all know I hate doing this.”
The show was part of Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He most recently performed in New Orleans on November 25, just a few days ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. As noted by People, this was where Timberlake reportedly suffered his recent injury.
Timberlake Also Changed His Tour Schedule Back In October
This is the third time that Timberlake changed his tour schedule over health concerns over the past few months. Back in October, he shared on Instagram that, “I haven’t been feeling great the last few shows and turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis.”
“I’m so sorry to say I do need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2. Thank you for understanding – I’ll make it up to you.”

That same month, Timberlake also had to cancel and reschedule a show in New Jersey due to an unspecified injury. Once again turning to Instagram, he shared, “I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show.”
Timberlake continued, “I have an injury that is preventing me from performing. I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show ya’ll deserve.” Adding a broken heart emoji, he added, “Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always.”
