‘Sister Wives’ Truth About Kody & Robyn Hits Meri Brown In Face
Sister Wives star, Meri Brown was stone cold during her parting with Kody Brown. While he was sobbing, she politely comforted him. However, her emotions were steady since she admittedly had felt the full range leading up to her decision to leave. But now she gets hit in the face with the truth about her former husband and sister wife, Kody and Robyn Brown.
Meri Brown Holds Her Emotions In
While Sister Wives star was rather stoic during her departure from Kody Brown and her life in Flagstaff, the truth catches up with her as she processes her emotions. When Robyn Brown came to say her goodbyes to Meri, Kody talked about Robyn being “not well.” Likewise, Meri acknowledged that Robyn is “broken-hearted” and said she is going to have to process through those emotions on her own.
Seemingly, Meri has been seeing Kody and Robyn differently as she ended the plural marriage. Even when Kody was bawling during their final goodbye, Meri stuck to her stance of remaining unemotional. She slightly teared up but was confused by the strong outburst that her ex-husband was expressing. Meri simply tells them she isn’t “happy” with the marriage ending, but she has a good life ahead of her. Ultimately, she opted to hold her emotions in.
Reality Sinks In
However, after Nathan Dilts and Kody Brown leave Meri Brown with Jenn Sullivan in Parowan, UT, the truth hits. While Kody outwardly grieved the end, Meri held back. But the upcoming preview shows that Meri gets hit in the face with the truth about the relationship ending. First, it shows her sigh of sadness and pain after Kody left. However, she seems to crumble with exhaustion and the realization that her polygamous life is over. Kody says, “It is heartbreaking when the reality finally hits.” Then, Meri comments, “Oh sh*t, what have I done.”
Truth About Kody And Robyn Hits Meri Brown In Face
As the preview for the upcoming Sister Wives episodes teases more, Meri Brown continues to question her decision. She says, “Maybe I did the wrong thing.” However, she finds a reality check with her friends. Meri is discovering dating again, she says, “Dating is fun. I’ve dated a little bit.” When a couple of her friends meet up, they break the ice by asking if she’s “f—ed any men?” But they also show her support. One friend remarks, “Ever since he has married Robyn, he has wanted nobody else.” Then, she makes the cold hard truth personal stating, “Or you.” While Meri is still contemplating if she made the right decision, she is beginning to see more evidence slapping her in the face about Robyn and Kody. As Meri continues to look at her past, she reveals she is “Definitely not interested in polygamy” in the future.
Likewise, Kody Brown tells Robyn he feels like he has been “slapped” by polygamy. As they go to their first monogamous Valentine’s Day dinner, Robyn feels like she is getting the brunt of his anger.
Janelle Helps Meri See More Truth About Robyn And Kody
But as the trailer continues, Janelle and Meri Brown meet up and discuss Coyote Pass again. Furthermore, Janelle states, “Change and growth are scary, right? And we don’t always want to get out of our comfort zone.” Seemingly, this applies to Meri, Janelle, and Christine as they start over. Additionally, many transitions are happening for Kody and Robyn simultaneously. When Kody discussed Coyote Pass he jokingly says, “I think they are worried about whether I’m going to be fair or not.” Then, he justifies, “Divorce just takes away all trust.”
Janelle tells Meri she intends to get a lawyer because Kody has the potential of “dragging his feet,” if he wants to, about the property negotiations. Undoubtedly, the idea of injustice has Meri ready to fight too. She says, “I put money into it, I’m going to get my part out of it.” Then, Meri and Janelle get together on the property and Meri says, “It’s so wrong that we have to do this. I’m so mad.” Furthermore, in the latest episode, Christine Brown Woolley asserts that Robyn has been manipulating Meri all along.
