‘Sister Wives’ Least Likely Wife Looks Out For Meri Brown
Sister Wives star, Meri Brown surprisingly gets some much-needed support from her least likely former sister wife. Undoubtedly, Meri had many tense moments through the years with all of her sister wives, Robyn, Janelle, Meri, and Christine Brown. But as the tides are turning, some of her former sister wives are stepping up.
Meri Brown Is Transitioning With Her Departure From The Plural Family
Undeniably, it has been a big change for Sister Wives star, Meri Brown to finally leave Kody Brown. Since she was the first wife, she was also the one who agreed to start the plural marriage. While Meri is moving on, she is letting go of more than just Kody in the relationship. Now, her life is changing with her former sister wives, Robyn, Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. But Meri doesn’t have the best track record with her former wives. For many years, they all thought she was too controlling. However, she gets surprising comfort from one of the least likely wives.
Least Likely Wife Looks Out For Meri Brown
Notably, in the latest episode of Sister Wives, Meri Brown mentions that she and Janelle Brown aren’t close. Janelle also says that she doesn’t have “ill will” for Meri, but they just have never had much of a one-on-one relationship. However, Meri agreed to talk to Janelle about the Coyote Pass business. At that point, Meri discusses she is moving to Utah to run her B&B. Janelle says, “I’m like, ‘Wow.’ And then I thought, ‘It’s about da*n time.'” Furthermore, Janelle notes that Meri is “loyal to a fault.” Janelle describes her perception of Meri, “I think she—it’s kind of that dog that keeps coming back because they’re loyal—not to say Meri is a dog.” Then, she adds, “But I think she just has that kind of loyalty.” However, Janelle understands Meri just reached a breaking point, “And I think finally she just reached her end.”
Janelle Brown Tries To Prepare Meri Brown For What She Believes Is Inevitable
Janelle Brown encourages Meri Brown to protect her part of the Coyote Pass property. Meri was baffled that Janelle believes that Kody and Robyn Brown will “screw” them over. While Meri believed that Janelle was in charge of all the money, Janelle corrected the record that she was only the “bookkeeper.” While Janelle and Christine Brown both appear to be content with their divorces from Kody. Admittedly, Janelle still has a few feelings bubble up when she sees Kody, but not enough to pull her back into the drama. When Meri talks about her relationship with Kody ending, she seems more than just sad. In some ways, she is still struggling with the situation. She never wanted to leave Kody and still wishes they were together.
“Don’t You Think We Have Each Other’s Backs?”
Unfortunately, Meri Brown is still blindly trusting that Kody Brown will “figure out” the issue with Coyote Pass’ possibility of being repossessed. Janelle Brown points out that if the land is sold, Meri won’t legally be entitled to a full quarter of the land. Since she is only on one plot, which has both Janelle and Kody listed, Janelle believes Meri will get gypped. However, Meri thinks that Kody will still be a “gentleman” in any business matters, such as the Coyote Pass division. However, Janelle is concerned that this is not the case. Instead, Janelle encourages Meri to be logical in the event Kody and Robyn don’t look out for her best interest. Meri asks, “Don’t you think we have each other’s backs?” But Janelle flatly replies, “No, I don’t.”
What do you think about Janelle Brown confronting the idea that Meri Brown’s best interest might be overlooked by Kody and Robyn Brown? Do you think Meri should put more structure in place to legally protect herself with the property? Have you been through a division of property that was difficult?
