Wheel Of Fortune star Chuck Woolery is one of the most beloved game show hosts in the entertainment industry. He had hosted multiple TV shows and was the original host of  Wheel Of Fortune and The Love Connection. The world is now mourning the loss of the game show legend who passed away at home in Texas.

Wheel Of Fortune: Who Is Chuck Woolery?

Chuck started his career as a singer and was the other half of the pop duo, The Avant-Garde. In 1975, he was hired for the TV game show Wheel Of Fortune. After six years in the program, Chuck was replaced by Pat Sajak. But his career didn’t stop there, Chuck later hosted Love Connection in 1983 and stayed on the show for 11 years. He has also appeared as a host and co-host for other variety game shows, such as Scrabble from 1984 to 1990 and Home & Family from 1996 to 1998. Chuck’s best-known saying when he would go to commercials was “We’ll be back in 2 and 2” 

 

He was also the host of The Dating Game from 1997 to 1999. Later in his career, Chuck hosted Lingo and eventually hosted his own talk show, The Chuck Woolery Show. Despite only having a brief run, many fans are thankful he stayed on TV for so long.

Chuck Dead At 83

Chuck Woolery’s passing was announced by his best friend, Mark Young, who was also his co-host in the podcast Blunt Forth Truth. According to Mark, “It is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away,” before adding that life will never be the same without him. He then shared throwback photos from their fun times together, and many fans mourned the loss of the game show legend. Some of them even took to X to share some of their unforgettable stories with Chuck. Reports are Woolery had trouble breathing and passed. The exact cause of death is unknown at this time.

 

Wheel Of Fortune: A Fan  Shares Sweet Chuck Woolery Story

One X user shared their Chuck Woolery story following his passing. According to the OP, his dad was at a gas station in Los Angeles in the 70s when he realized he locked his keys inside the car. However, a young man helped him by successfully lockpicking his vehicle. He pulled a paperclip from his pocket and worked his magic. The young man happened to be Chuck, and it’s one of the most unforgettable stories the poster has about the iconic TV host.  Chuck Woolery left behind 5 children and truly loved his country the USA.
