Christina Hall Calls Ex Joshua ‘Insecure’ Amid Filming Difficulties
In July star of The Flip Off Christina Hall filed for divorce from her husband Joshua Hall. Despite the estrangement between the pair they continue to film The Flip Off together. Christina admitted that working on the project with her ex-husband has not been easy. Working with an ex is not a first for Hall, as she has had mutual projects with her first husband Tarek El Moussa. The couple was obligated to finish their latest project together prior to filing for divorce.
Christina Hall Has To Work With Her Ex
Christina and Joshua Hall are fighting it out in divorce court as they bring their marriage to an end. The Flip Off stars are obligated to continue to film together throughout this process. Christina has been open about what this process has been like for her. Filming for the show had already started when the couple filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” The HGTV show also features Hall’s first husband Tarek El Moussa.
The Flip Off features Christina Hall working with Joshua to compete against Tarek and his new wife Heather El Moussa. The couples each have to find, buy, renovate, and flip a house. The best project wins. However, filming has been difficult for Christina during her split from Joshua. She said:
“When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything. I feel like I was not shining as bright, to try to not make him feel emasculated. But, who wants to live like that? I did not enjoy filming with him. So, having split up made this, to be honest, so much easier and so much better in every way.”
Joshua Hall Struggles With Jealousy
Christina Hall has stated that The Flip Off has been years in the making. She has been building her brand separated from her first husband Tarek El Moussa. Tarek also had to rebrand himself after their very public split in 2018. Both HGTV stars moved on to new projects and new spouses. However, it is Christina who finds herself in a difficult situation with her new partner. Christina h said that Joshua struggle with jealousy, especially towards her ex-husband Tarek. Hall Said:
“The show would have been hard to film – jealousy over Tarek, doesn’t like … our dynamic because Tarek and I have our own dynamic and some could call it flirty. For me, it’s like a sibling type thing.”
Christina Hall and her soon-to-be ex-husband Joshua still have to work together. However, he has been noticeably absent from the set lately. Apparently Christina is not the only one who was struggling with Joshua on set. Heather El Moussa said of his absence, “I don’t want to be mean, but it was kind of nice to see him go.” Christina’s ex-husband Tarek also chimed in. He said, “At the beginning, she was going through it, but she recovers really quick.” Christina Hall has the support of Tarek and Heather El Moussa as The Flip Off wraps up.
