Sunny Hostin Trolls Joy Behar On ‘The View’
The women on The View are not afraid to express their feelings. This is especially true of Sunny Hostin. Many fans feel that Sunny has been acting out more than usual lately, possibly thanks to the presidential election and the results that have her worried about the country’s future. However, some of her remarks come across as cruel.
She recently said something to Joy Behar that had fans shocked and seemed very catty, more so than usual. Here is what Sunny said and how Joy reacted to it.
Sunny Hostin “Fat Shames” Joy Behar On The View
Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar had an exchange on a recent episode of The View that took some fans by surprise. The women on the talk show love to throw out catty insults at each other. They will make fun of each other for everything from clothing to their own idiosyncrasies.
However, a recent comment by Sunny seemed to go over the line and came across as fat shaming to Joy Behar. While Joy is in no way overweight, she does like to snack a lot while hosting The View. She is also snacking more, considering the nation’s uncertain future after the presidential election.
Joy Behar was the moderator for this episode since it was Whoopi Goldberg’s normal day off. She was leading the women into another segment while also snacking on the Skinny Pop Kettle Corn she keeps during the show.
Joy had just commented on a four-year cruise for people who want to get away during President Trump’s next tenure. Joy said that she would end up gaining 500 pounds.
Sunny then broke in and said, “Yes.” This led to Sunny then saying, “Joy, I’ve noticed that you have started really eating a lot at like 8 a.m…You’ve been eating your feelings. It’s like popcorn all the time, Joy!” Sunny has even followed Joy around and took pictures of her eating the popcorn
Fans React To Sunny Hostin’s Latest Comments On The View
Fans were not happy with the segment in general. Many of The View fans are ready to hear about anything other than politics. However, with what Sunny Hostin said to Joy Behar, many of them jumped online to show their discontent with the host.

They have said a whole lot worse about Sunny and you know it. She a racist hate-filled witch! She should have been fired for comment “uneducated white women” but no! If a white woman had said that you would have fired her! She screams about all the diversity in the US and your show is one of causes of it! Oh and not having holiday meals with family if they voted for Trump because it’s about morals! She has no morals!! Why would you not have nothing to do with your family over an election, it’s ridiculous!! Your whole show needs to be canceled!!!!!
I really stopped watching recently and had only been watching now and then. One main reason is Sunny who acts like shes better than everyone, brings up being Black or Latino when she needs to make a point. Always needs to be right, makes strange faces and for someone who says she loves fashion needs to consult an expert, and has that horrible, false look of admiration when she’s starstruck. She sounds like she’s bragging when she mentions being an only child. Most annoying person on television next to touchy feely Drew Barrymore. When she’s gone I’ll be back. Don’t really like being judgy but I need to get this off my chest.
