Diddy Accused Of Blackmailing Witnesses From Behind Bars
Sean “Diddy” Combs is in jail awaiting his trial in 2025. A judge has repeatedly denied his bail request. One reason for keeping him in jail is that the judge feels he could influence his case if he is out. However, there are now worries he is influencing it from behind bars. Accusations arose that indicate Combs is trying to blackmail witnesses from jail.
Here is what people are claiming the disgraced record producer is trying to do.
Diddy Accused Of Blackmailing Witnesses
According to reports, taped prison phone calls indicate that Sean “Diddy” Combs is attempting to blackmail witnesses before his trial in 2025. This comes from court papers at a Manhattan federal court.
It seems that after Diddy was arrested in September, people claim that he started “breaking the rules” (via The U.S. Sun). It seems that he wanted his family to run a social media campaign around the time of his birthday to send out strong messages to the general public.
Combs is trying for a third bail bid, but this time, the prosecution is claiming his wrongdoing while in jail. They are worried he will do much worse if he is released on bail. Diddy has offered up a $40 million surety proposal for the bail.
Combs denies all the allegations, saying he has in no way tried to coerce or abuse women into silence via his associates. The accusations include threats of violence, including kidnapping, arson, and beatings.
Sean “Diddy” Combs Claims Racism From Authorities
While the prosecutors are making accusations about blackmail and threats, Diddy himself is making accusations of his own. Diddy’s attorney claims that he is innocent, but the police are targeting him because he is a “successful Black man.”
The attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said that the investigators couldn’t find anything relating to his taxes or business, so they looked to his “bedroom.”
There are also fears that many of the A-listers who attended Diddy’s parties are in danger as well. One attorney for several women suing Diddy in civil court is actually threatening celebrities that he will sue them too if they don’t pay up.
None of the celebrities or partygoers have been accused of any wrongdoing outside of the claims by this one specific attorney. There is no suggestion in the criminal case that any of them knew about the abuse allegations in Diddy’s trial before his eventual arrest.
Do you think that Sean “Diddy” Combs has been making threats and blackmail attempts against the witnesses in his upcoming sex trafficking trial? Will all the accusations keep him from receiving the bail that he is fighting for? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
