Will Artem Chigvintsev eventually find his way back to Dancing With The Stars?

That’s a question many of his fans have been asking since his domestic violence arrest back in August. Ultimately, the District Attorney opted not to press charges against Artem. But even so, his explosive divorce from Nikki Garcia hasn’t painted him in the best light.

What does Artem Chigvintsev’s future with DWTS look like?

DWTS Producers Invited Artem Chigvintsev To Attend The 500th Episode

During the 500th episode special on Tuesday, many pro dancers received an invitation to attend the performance. Sharna Burgess even had a guest dance role in the opening number.

Artem Chigvintsev was also spotted in the audience Tuesday night, attending the show with friends Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd. He remains incredibly close with many of the pro dancers involved with the show. So will he be back?

According to TMZ, Artem Chigvintsev’s lawyer said they’re all hopeful he will be back on the show next year. DWTS producers reportedly haven’t been in touch yet, but inviting Artem to attend the 500th episode was an excellent sign.

The Russian dancer’s attorney also noted that he’s on great terms with the executive team. They didn’t have a spot for him on the show this year, but he’s choreographed several memorable routines for Dancing With The Stars. It could just be a matter of time before he’s back on the stage.

Maks Chmerkovskiy Defends His Friend

Former DWTS pro Maks Chmerkovskiy admitted he felt relieved when he heard the DA declined to press charges against Artem Chigvitnsev. However, he also wanted to offer his friend a word of warning.

“First of all, I think people need to learn to let go before it’s too late. And so the couples don’t work out. I think we live in a world where you know, you give it an honest effort and then you can still be happy going your separate ways,” Maks told TMZ in an October interview. “And I think that it’s one of the examples that we see. … And that he also gets a chance to clear his name and move on.”

TMZ asked Maks to elaborate on his answer. The Ukranian dancer explained that people need to let go of toxic relationships before they become physically violent, especially if there are children around.

  1. Artem deserves a 2nd chance! The DA dropped the charges for a reason and this should not ruin his livelihood and chance to clear his name.
