Jason Kelce & Stevie Nicks Team Up For Christmas Duet
Jason Kelce and Stevie Nicks aren’t two names that fans normally expect to see together. However, the two recently teamed up just in time for the holiday season. Kelce has also opened up on what it was like working with Nicks.
This Is Actually Jason Kelce’s Third Christmas Album
Stevie Nicks is a singer-songwriter known for her work as part of Fleetwood Mac and later as a solo artist. Jason Kelce is known for his time with the Philadelphia Eagles and for hosting the podcast, New Heights, with his brother Travis.
Kelce and Nicks came together to perform a duet together, a cover of Ron Sexsmith’s “Maybe This Christmas.” The song will be part the upcoming album, A Philly Special Christmas Party.
Kelce first teased his duet with Nicks on Instagram page for the New Heights podcast. In the caption, he appeared wearing a Christmas sweater.
The former pro football player wrote in the caption: “The crossover we didn’t know we needed…Coming soon to a Christmas album near you.”

On another Instagram post, Kelce also shared what it was like working with Nicks. As he shared, “I never thought I’d ever in a million years be on a song with Stevie Nicks, so this is incredible.”
Kelce also talked about working with Nicks on the New Heights podcast. As noted by Us Weekly, he shared, “The legendary Stevie Nicks came on and did a duet with me, which in itself is pretty crazy to actually be on a track with Stevie Nicks. I mean, absolutely unreal.” He continued that, “[She’s] probably the most legendary female singer, especially of her generation … [and so] the fact that I’m singing with her, this legend, is pretty unreal.”
A Philly Special Christmas Party will be Kelce’s third holiday album with former Philadelphia Eagles teammates, Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson. Similar albums were released in 2022 and 2023, A Philly Special Christmas and A Philly Special Christmas Special, respectively.
Kelce Actually Has Some Background In Music
Both albums are made up of various Christmas covers. Proceeds from the albums are given to the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia.
Kelce actually has some background in music, including playing baritone saxophone when he was in high school. In 2018, he also returned to the instrument for a performance of “Fly, Eagles Fly” with the Philadelphia Orchestra for an event at the Mann Center.

On the Philadelphia Eagles website, Kelce shared that, “I have always been involved in music but it’s not something I’ve really gotten too much into.” In some way, this seemed tied to his Pennsylvania roots.
As Kelce continued, “Because of the Mummers and the Philadelphia Orchestra night came about, I was able to push that message of being involved in music. That was something I certainly enjoyed doing.”
The song dropped on Friday, November 8. The full album, however, A Philly Special Christmas Party, will come out later this month on November 22.
