Parker Schnabel Seeks To Break Records On ‘Gold Rush’
Parker Schnabel is planning big things for this season on Gold Rush. As the season begins, Parker has set some goals for himself. However, with the new site he purchased, he wants to break a record. The question is, whether or not he will succeed at this big goal this season, and what will happen if he falls short?
Here is what Parker has planned and what you can expect to see this season on Gold Rush.
Parker Schnabel Wants To Break New Record On Gold Rush
Parker Schnabel has a new record he wants to break this season on Gold Rush. With the new season about to launch, Parker has said that he wants to break records. This show is one of the most physically demanding shows out there, and miners pay the price, as the job takes a physical toll. Even so, Parker is looking to move forward in big ways.
Schnabel wants to extract 10,000 ounces per season for the next six years (via Instagram). This is a massive amount of gold.
Over his career, Parker has already extracted 63,000 ounces of gold. This totals an impressive $98 million. After buying Dominion Creek, Parker knows that he has an estimated $200 million worth of untapped resources there. With that comes a lot of pressure.
Parker and his crew (including Tyson Lee and Mitch Blaschke) have to remain relentless and not stop until they hit their goals. This is important to keep Parker from losing money, since he paid so much for Dominion Creek.
“It’s uncomfortable knowing permits may not be renewed after six years,” Parker said. “If we can’t mine it all by then, any gold left becomes a lost investment.”
Parker Schnabel Joins Rick Ness & Tony Beets For New Gold Rush Season
The three very successful miners are back again this season on Gold Rush. After a disappointing season in which inexperienced miners like Fred Lewis struggled to get anything done, fans seemed more than ready to move on. Luckily, Rick Ness was ready to return last season, and his redemption tour continues.

Rick had some serious mental health issues after his mom died, and he was diagnosed with seasonal disorder. He missed out on a season, flaking out at the last minute. However, he has recovered and is back at it again, and fans couldn’t be happier.
While Tony Beets is still the old veteran on the show, and Parker has eclipsed Rick in almost every way, it is nice to see three experienced miners back on the show again because fans can now see success stories rather than hapless newcomers.
Gold Rush premieres Friday, November 8 at 8/7c on Discovery Channel, and the full series streams on Max.
