Ken Jennings Says ‘Jeopardy!’ Is Finally Coming To Streaming

One of the biggest complaints lately about Jeopardy! is that fans can’t find a way to see preempted episodes. This has happened many times this year alone, and often, the episodes are nowhere to be found after the preemption for fans to catch up on the winners. Ken Jennings has some good news about that for 2025.

Ken Jennings Says Jeopardy! will Receive A Streaming Home

While streaming platforms like Netflix and Prime Video have been around for years, Jeopardy! has never had a home on one of the streaming services. That is about to change, according to host Ken Jennings.

During an off-camera interview, Ken Jennings said that Jeopardy! will finally find a home on a streaming service. This is something fans have been asking for so they can catch the replays and possibly the past seasons on their own time. This news comes from someone who was at a television taping and Jennings said it to the audience in attendance while the cameras were not rolling (via The U.S. Sun).

“It is happening, indeed,” Ken reportedly said. He told the audience it will happen in 2025 and will include past seasons. As for the streaming home, he said it will be on either Hulu or Prime Video. This makes sense as Hulu has countless TV shows from different networks. Prime Video is the home for the upcoming Pop Culture Jeopardy!.

This could also allow fans to go back and see the past episodes with Alex Trebek as the host.

Pluto TV Ends Jeopardy! Agreement

Jeopardy! has been on a streaming service, but it wasn’t the best deal for fans of the show. The game show was on Pluto TV. However, this didn’t offer fans a chance to watch the past episodes they wanted to see. Instead, there was a specific channel on Pluto TV that played nothing but Jeopardy! 24/7.

Ken Jennings’s announcement comes after Pluto TV and Jeopardy! chose not to renew its agreement when it ended. Fans were met with the disappointing news that it was canceled by a black screen saying it was no longer available on Pluto TV.

Fans were disappointed since this was a way to watch old episodes for free at any time:

  • “I hope it stays on a platform too. I love watching those reruns for free anytime both on demand and their own channel”
  • “Some heads-up would have been nice to warn us when their deal expired.”
  • “Please no – not when season 40 is ending as well Please don’t let it be!”

While Hulu ($9.99 a month with ads) and Prime Video ($8.99 a month) are not free, having the seasons there to pick and choose episodes might be the best thing for Jeopardy! fans. Are you excited to see it on streaming? Let us know in the comments below.
