Jesse Palmer Shares Star-Studded Dream ‘Bachelor’ Cast List
The Bachelor Nation shows have preferred to cast non-celebrity men and women looking for love. But what if the network did a Hollywood version of the dating show? Bachelor host Jesse Palmer weighed in and shared his star-studded dream cast list. Keep reading to see who he would love to see on the dating franchise.
Jesse Palmer Teases Joan Vassos’ Golden Bachelorette Finale
A celebrity version of The Bachelor isn’t entirely out of the question. The network finally gave in to viewers demanding a senior citizen version of the dating franchise. Gerry Turner was the first Golden Bachelor last year. His former contestant, Joan Vassos, was chosen to headline the first Golden Bachelorette season. After seven weeks, she is ready to hand out her final rose.
She’s narrowed her suitors from twenty-four to just two – Chock Chapple and Guy Gansert. Her former contestants reunite this week for the Men Tell All special. Viewers find out her decision next week on the Golden Bachelorette season finale.
In a new interview with E! News, Jesse Palmer teased that the final is “emotional” and “exciting.” But he stopped short of giving any hints about who Joan chooses and if there’s an engagement.
Update On Another Golden Bachelor Season
The interviewer asked Jesse Palmer if he had any updates on Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor. Gerry Turner and Theresa’s Nist divorce put a second season in doubt. The Bachelor Nation host side-stepped the question by throwing his full support behind a Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff. He said the network should send Joan and Gerry’s former contestants to a beach somewhere. He joked that the rose ceremony could be at 9 p.m. so viewers could go to bed early.
His Star-Studded Dream Bachelor Cast List
Soap star Susan Lucci was reportedly in talks to be the first Golden Bachelorette. But the network ultimately went with someone from the franchise. Jesse Palmer was asked to name the celebrities he would love to see join the franchise. He rattled off the names of A-list celebs that the show has zero chance of getting.
But who did he choose? His first choice for The Bachelor was a fellow Canadian, rapper Drake. Jesse Palmer pointed out that the rapper is still single and they could film the show in Toronto, Canada.
He added that his choice for The Bachelorette would be Kim Kardashian. Interestingly, Gerry Turner actually met some of Kim’s family, including her mother Kris, because they are huge Bachelor Nation fans. Jesse Palmer also named-dropped actress and talk show host Drew Barrymore for his Bachelorette wish list.
He also had ideas for the next Golden Bachelor and Bachelorette. He said he would love to see A-listers Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson and Sharon Stone on the senior dating show.
