Garth Brooks To Release New ‘Anthology’ Book Amid Allegations
Country music star Garth Brooks is set to release the latest installment in The Anthology series. The book will look at a point where he feels his “life” was “at its best.” This comes out amidst allegations made against the star made by a former hairstylist and makeup artist.
The New Book May Contain Unreleased Material
The new book will be called The Anthology Part IV: Going Home. It will focus on the years Brooks spent with his daughters, Taylor, August, and Allie, after retiring from touring back in 2000. Brooks shares these children with ex-wife Sandy Mahl.
Brooks would later break out of retirement to go on tour with his wife Trisha Yearwood, with whom he tied the knot in 2005. This tour ended in 2017 but was followed by his Stadium Tour and the Garth Brooks/Plus ONE concert residency.
On his website, Brooks noted that, “Those fourteen years of my life are the ones I’ll always remember. It was life at its best. I learned to be a dad, my girls got to know me, and I’d never for one second regret walking away from a career in order to find all of that.”
The News Comes Out After Allegations Had Been Made Against Garth Brooks
The book will feature stories from Brooks himself, Yearwood, and various friends. As Brooks described, it will feature the people who made the time “life at its best.”
The Anthology series features rare photos and discs with Garth’s music. These can contain things like “previously unreleased material, live performances, demo versions, and his biggest hits.”

Notably, as noted by Us Weekly, news of the release comes out after accusations had been made against the musician. A woman known as “Jane Roe” had alleged the star raped her in 2019 while she worked as his hairstylist and makeup artist. Roe had further alleged Brooks exposed himself to her and sent her sexually explicit text messages.
Brooks has denied these allegations. He had also filed a complaint in attempt to block Roe from repeating these claims. In a later filing, Brooks claimed he was the “victim of a shakedown,” alleging that Roe had also threatened to blackmail him. He also claimed a July 17 letter had Roe threaten to file her “allegations” had he not agreed to compensate her.
A source previously told Us Weekly that Yearwood is supporting her husband. As it noted, “Trisha completely believes Garth and has complete faith that the allegations are false.” Another insider told the publication Brooks was “trying to push forward and stay positive.”
