‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Shocked At Player’s Bad Guess
Wheel of Fortune fans love to blast players they think made bad guesses. While the people at home only have social media to go to, there is no proof that they could have done any better if they were under the bright lights. However, fans were a little more harsh with a recent contestant who made what some call the “worst” guess ever on the show.
Here is what you need to know about the recent Wheel of Fortune appearance.
Wheel Of Fortune Fans Call Out ‘Worst’ Guess Ever
This latest Wheel of Fortune miss came in the same episode where a man went on to win $100,000 in the Bonus Round. However, before that could happen, one of his competitors made what some fans call the “worst guess” ever on the game show.
This was in the regular round. Only two letters were missing on the puzzle board. It read: “CAR & IN_INIT_ POOL.” A player named Sharay looked at the board and chose to spin the wheel. She then guessed the letter “B.” It was not on the board, and even Vanna White looked sad for the woman.
The turn moved to Ryan Burkett. He didn’t spin the wheel and immediately guessed “Car & Infinity Pool,” which got him the win. He ended up moving on to the Bonus Round and won $100,000.
Fans went onto X to question how this player thought a “B” could fit anywhere in this puzzle.
- “Is this the worst guess in the history of #wheeloffortune?”
- “Bruh, this lady only had the f & y missing in infinity on wheel of fortune & she asked for a b… a b where ma’am.”
- “Where in the world was a B going to fit in that puzzle?!! Smh”
Wheel Of Fortune Fans Have Been Critical This Season
This wasn’t the first time that Wheel of Fortune fans have been unkind to players this season. It isn’t even the first time in the last week. There have been two recent players who made it to the Bonus Round that saw fans at home acting like they could have done better on the show.

The first case saw a woman named Janie. She had won $19,200 in cash and a trip to Savannah, Georgia. This led her to the Bonus Round, where she could have won $50,000. However, the former teacher chose the “Phrase” category and then couldn’t figure it out.
The squares showed *EE* / ** / THE / *OOD / *OR*.” She missed it, and the answer was, “KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.” Fans at home were shocked that a former teacher couldn’t figure out this quote and let her have it on social media.
The second time was a chef who had a food question in the bonus round. His puzzle read “_OT / _ _ _ GE / TOPP_NG.” He almost missed it, but blurted out “Hot Fudge Topping” at the last second. Fans wondered how he cut it so close, but he likely doesn’t care. He won $100,000.
