Hallmark has had several Christmas movies that became sequels. One of the most recent is the Blake Shelton-produced Time For movies. These are inspired by his song “Time For Me To Come Home.” Is there one for 2024? Unfortunately, fans of the country singer are out of luck. There was not a new one made for this season. Hallmark has not said anything, nor did Shelton. However, this was a special series for fans and singer alike. And, someone close to him.
Speaking with From Apple Music With Love, he shared how this song came about. Back in 2012, Blake was working on songs for his holiday album, Cheers, It’s Christmas. He explained, “When I was making my Christmas album, I said, ‘Mom, let’s me and you write a song together, and you can sing it with me on my album. And there’s your Lucille Ball moment. You can finally have your moment to be famous.'”
But, neither had any idea that this song would turn into anything more. “We had no idea it was going to end up turning into a book deal for my mom.” Then, there were the Hallmark movies. All in all, Shelton shared, “It’s been a cool experience to have that with my mom.”
