Hallmark’s ‘Time For You To Come Home for Christmas’: Details On Blake Shelton Produced Movie

Two years after losing her husband, Katherine braces for bittersweet memories as she and her son return to her Virginia hometown for Christmas. Meeting up with old friends her first night there, she is surprised to see Jack, her erstwhile seat-mate on the train to Virginia. A guitarist, Jack volunteered to play at the town’s annual Christmas dance benefiting military families. Katherine and Jack grow close, though she remains perplexed by his decision to spend Christmas away from his own family. Christmas is not always the holly jolly holiday for those who have lost a loved one. In Time For You To Come Home for Christmas, a widow finds hope, laughter and unexpected love. This Hallmark Miracle of Christmas movie stars Alison Sweeney (Murder She Baked) and Lucas Bryant (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).

Just a couple of years after losing her husband, the still heartbroken Katherine (Sweeney) heads to her Virginia hometown for the Christmas holidays. On the train, she meets Jack (Bryant), a guitar playing veteran and they strike up a conversation.

They immediately meet again, while Katherine is out on the town with some of her friends from her past. Turns out, Jack has a mission in Katherine’s Virginia hometown. He is also performing for military families, at a special Christmas dance. This leads to a lot of time together, filled with some new Christmas memories.

As both continue on their quest for healing, Katherine starts to remember some of her dreams that she happily gave up in the past. Meanwhile, Jack needs to do something important before he moves forward. Turns out, there is a connection between the two of them that will change their lives forever.

This Is Second Hallmark Christmas Movie Based On Blake Shelton Song

If the name of this Hallmark Christmas movie sounds familiar, it is because it is the second movie based on the same Blake Shelton song. The first movie was 2018’s Hallmark movie, Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas. According to Taste of Country, both are based on his song “Time For Me To Come Home.” The Voice coach is the executive producer of Time For You To Come Home For Christmas.

Time for You to Come Home for Christmas premiered on Sunday, December 8, 2019  on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, with Encores airing Dec. 15 at 7 p.m., Dec. 19 at 5 p.m., Dec. 22 at 1:06 a.m., Dec. 25 at 7 p.m., Dec. 27 at 11 p.m., Jan. 1 at 1 a.m., Jan. 3 at 9 p.m., Jan. 5 at 12 p.m. and January 16 at 9 p.m., all times Eastern.
