Many fans have accused Katy Perry of using Ozempic for weight loss. While Katy has always been thin, fans are accusing every celebrity who is slim of using the blood sugar drug to lose their weight. At a recent party, Katy mocked the entire controversy in a way that only she could.

Katy Perry celebrated her 40th birthday and used her birthday party to mock people who accused her of using Ozempic. This birthday bash had a little extra edge to it. Perry is always someone who does not mind stirring the pot, and she did it again recently.
Katy was at the Ritz-Carlton in Geneva with her fiancé Orlando Bloom and Jeff Bezos’ fiancé, Lauren Sanchez. Also in the goodie bags she gave her guests were personalized Monopoly Deal card games, a 1940s-style newspaper article about her birthday, a bottle of Moet champagne, and some blue sweets. There were even mini syringes.
The joke about Ozempic came after many fans accused Katy of using the drug to get into shape. She admitted she had changed her figure recently because she was eating more hard-boiled eggs in Australia. She called them a great source of protein.
It also makes sense because her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, has always been an avid fitness enthusiast, and Katy is now following in his footsteps.
Katy Perry’s Birthday Also Brings Controversy
There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’s orders that his newspaper, The Washington Post, refuse to endorse anyone for President this year. Many people canceled their subscriptions and called Bezos out on the incident.
Katy Perry was then pulled into the controversy. She is friends with Jeff Bezos’ fiance, Lauren Sanchez. Since Lauren was at Katy’s birthday party, Bezos was also there. What is ironic is that the decision to cancel the paper’s planned endorsement of Harris was made while Bezos was at Perry’s birthday party.
Thanks to Katy partying with Bezos when this happened, she met some criticism as well, even though she endorsed Harris.
As for Katy Perry and her long-time role as an American Idol judge, there is also word that she wants to return. However, sources say the show won’t bring her back unless the ratings drop without her.
