‘Big Brother’ Legend Dr. Will Kirby Reveals Exciting New Job
There was one major change this season on Big Brother. Dr. Will Kirby left the Jury Round Table where he sat for years. Keep reading to find out what the all-star and BB legend is up to now.
Big Brother Dr. Will Moves On
This season, Big Brother icon, Dr. Will, left his seat at the jury roundtable. Dr. Will was a contestant on Big Brother Season 2 where he became a fan favorite amongst the shows viewers. He was so loved in fact, that during Season 7 he came back to be a part of the jury. He has held that seat until now. This season, the time finally came for Dr. Will to step down and Taylor Hale to take over.
What is he up to now though? Apparently, he is taking his medical career even further. According to Newsweek, he graduated from Nova Southeastern University. He is also the Chief Medical Officer of LaserAway. However, now, he’s taking a step towards educating young physicians at Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine where he has just become a faculty member. So, it seems that Dr. Will will now have the chance to shape future doctors as they move through their schooling. Needless to say, he’s very proud of this accomplishment saying that his younger self would be very proud of his now 51-year-old self.
“The apprehensive, 23-year-old me, struggling to balance all aspects of life and just entering medical school is extremely proud of the 51-year-old me,” he says.
Apparently, working in medical education is a passion of his saying that he is “now confident in his vision and closing the loop on his passion for medical education.”
Sharing Parting Words
It was a sad day when Dr. Will announced he would be stepping away from the round table where he sat for over ten years. As previously reported, he shared a statement explaining that nothing can last forever. It seems that other than this new opportunity, nothing happened to cause this switch, he was just ready to leave TV.
“I can confirm that I will not be serving as the Big Brother jury roundtable host this season,” he said in his statement. “It’s simply time to hang up the proverbial cleats. The run I’ve had on the show, first as a contestant and then as a host, is practically unheard of but nothing last forever; I am ready to pass the reality television baton!”
Only time will tell if Dr. Will stays away from reality TV or if he ever makes a return.
