‘Today Show’ Stars Show Proof They’re True Swifties
Just about anyone can be a full-fledged Swiftie. That sentiment even applies to other famous people. Taylor Swift is one of the most popular musicians of this era because she has a great voice, catchy songs, and undeniable charm. Even the talk hosts from The Today Show are enamored by her. Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, and Jenna Bush Hager just attended an Eras Tour concert with all of their children. The pics they shared on social media prove that these Today Show hosts are true Swifties. These are the details.
These Today Show Hosts Adore Taylor Swift
Hoda might’ve announced her retirement from The Today Show this year, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t still close with her co-stars. She linked up with Savannah and Jenna to enjoy a Taylor concert with all of their little ones. Hoda brought seven-year-old Haley and five-year-old Hope. Savannah brought 10-year-old Vale and seven-year-old Charley. And Jenna brought 11-year-old Mila and nine-year-old Poppy Louise.
Based on the pictures they uploaded, everyone looked super excited to be there. In one shot, all the moms gathered together with their kids in front of them. Each concertgoer had big smiles on their face while wearing bright colors. Hoda and one of her daughters rocked matching Swifties T-shirts in different colors. In another pic from the concert, Hoda, Savannah, and Jenna posed together without the kids. They seemed just as excited as the youngsters to be there for the iconic concert. If this isn’t proof that these beloved news anchors are true Swifties, then what is?
Is Hoda Kotb Still Retiring From The Today Show?
After seeing these lovely images of Hoda with her co-stars from The Today Show, some fans might question if she still has plans to retire. The reality is that Hoda will still be done serving as a news anchor when 2024 comes to an end. She admitted that retirement was important so that she could spend more time with her daughters. She opened up about the difficult decision in an open letter on Today’s official website, writing:
I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new. I remembered standing outside looking at these beautiful bunch of people with these gorgeous signs, and I thought, ‘This is what the top of the wave feels like for me.’ And I thought it can’t get better, and I decided that this is the right time for me to kind of move on.
She went on to explain that since she adopted her kids later on in life, cherishing time with them at this stage is her top priority.
