From 2003 until 2010, The Pussycat Dolls were active as one of the most beloved girl groups ever. Then, they reconnected from 2019 until 2022. There’s much to respect about The Pussycat Dolls since the women who formed the group were each highly talented and skilled as singers and dancers. A lot of people recognize Nicole Scherzinger from the group since she was the lead singer. Kaya Jones was also a pivotal member of the group for one year at the very start. She recently just opened up with some serious accusations against Diddy and his inner circle. These are the details.

Was Kaya Jones Abused During Her Time In The Pussycat Dolls?

Kaya‘s claims against Diddy and his inner circle are as disturbing as they sound. She sat down with Daily Mail to open up about some of the details. Still, she refrained from dropping any names for her own safety and protection. According to Kaya, she and other members of The Pussycat Dolls faced “uncomfortable“ situations on multiple occasions. In some instances, they actually feared for their safety and well-being. She described the scandal as being an “industry-wide problem.” Kaya revealed:

”This is way beyond Puff Daddy. And I think the P. Diddy stuff has been so like alarming for so many people that their eyes are like, ‘Whoa!’  But it’s not just him. Our industry has something very wrong because we’ve allowed this behavior to continue to grow. Not with one gentleman, but many. And not with one woman, but many. Know that abuse comes in all forms.”

Why Did Kaya Jones Leave The Pussycat Dolls In The First Place?

Kaya was only part of The Pussycat Dolls for its first year of existence. One of the major reasons she chose to part ways with the group came down to the inappropriate situations she faced when she was a member. She went into further detail about Diddy’s influence saying:

“Go bigger than Diddy because you have to start from the people who run these institutions because they’ve allowed it. There is something going on and it’s not just in entertainment, but entertainment is a really easy industry for these types of individuals to get what they want because you are never told, ‘No’.”

Ultimately, the discomfort Kaya dealt with as a Pussycat Doll was enough to make her abruptly quit without turning back. Beyond Kaya and Nicole, there are several other Pussycat Doll members who phased through the group over the years. These include Melody Thornton, Kasey Campbell, Jessica Sutta, Cyia Batten, Carmit Bachar, and Asia Nitollano.
