Joey Graziadei’s ‘DWTS’ Partner Slams Romance Rumors
All eyes are on Joey Graziadei this season on Dancing With The Stars. He’s been in the top three the last few weeks and is a clear frontrunner for the Mirrorball Trophy. However, some viewers are more focused on his chemistry with dance partner Jenna Johnson than his dance moves.
Joey Graziadei’s DWTS Partner Shuts Down Romance Rumors
Jenna Johnson and Joey Graziadei hadn’t even hit the dance floor before rumors began on social media. Their chemistry was clear as day from the practice videos leading up to the season premiere. Once they had their first official dance, the rumors only heated up.
Joey Graziadei recently revealed that he took steps to combat the rumors before he agreed to do the show. He requested a professional dance partner who was in a stable relationship. Jenna Johnson has been married to Val Chmerkovskiy since 2019. The couple welcomed their first child in 2023.
Jenna and Joey were on the Scrubbing In podcast earlier this week. At one point in the interview, the host brought up how she personally wouldn’t feel comfortable with a romantic partner being on DWTS because of how intimate the dances are.
Jenna Johnson jumped in and said it’s no big deal for the professionals on the show because they are used to it. She said that her only motive is to make the dances as good as they can be. Jenna added that they involve Joey’s fiance, Kelsey Anderson, as much as possible.
Joey Graziadei admitted that he does regret not being able to spend more time with his fiance because he’s always practicing. However, he stressed that he’s confident in his romantic relationship with Kelsey and confident in his partnership with Jenna Johnson.

Joey and Kelsey’s relationship is under intense speculation from fans on social media. Jenna Johnson can relate to that. She talked about how fans started speculating there was trouble in her marriage after her husband didn’t post about her on social media for a few days.
She warned Joey Graziadei that the scrutiny is part of life as a public couple. Joey said that he handles it by ignoring the ‘noise’ of social media rumors.
