North West Shares Spiritual Experience She Had With Siblings
When people think of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, they don’t always instantly think of religion. However, it seems that religion might be a big deal in the heart of one of the family’s youngest members. We’re referring to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s oldest daughter, North West. She recently opened up about spirituality in a way that left tons of fans completely blown away. Here’s what North just said about her faith.
North West Had A Spiritual Experience
While sitting down with Interview Magazine to answer some questions, North got super candid about her spirituality. The outlet asked her questions about who inspires her the most and what her favorite songs are. They also asked her about which life lesson she’ll never be able to forget. North quickly responded with, “To trust God only. Don’t trust nobody else except God.” Later, when asked about the best day of her life, she went even deeper. North said:
“In Italy with my dad. It was just us and my siblings, and that’s when I really brought them close to god, because we had this house and there were these devil statues, and I was like, ‘Mm-mm, mm-mm, no, girl.’ I was like, ‘We got to pray.’ So then I taught Chi and Psalm and Saint how to pray. God really did his thing after.”
North seemed absolutely certain about what she was saying when answering the question on camera. As a reminder, her siblings are named Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. All four of the children currently go back and forth between spending time with Kim and Kanye. Their split schedule started up after their parents’ divorce in February 2021. Social media users have taken it to Reddit to share their thoughts on North’s openness about her faith:
- “Did I miss something? Are all the Kardashian/Jenner/West’s all churchgoers? I don’t think saying ‘bible’ counts.”
- “This makes me sad. Not that she can’t love God and be religious but, calling Italian sculptures ‘Devil statues’ and forcing her siblings to pray at the sight of them just feels like fear and indoctrination.”
- “The heavy-handed religious stuff I believe is damage control from the recent Kanye allegations.”
What’s Going On With Kanye West’s Recent Allegations?
Some fans are convinced North’s religious statement came on the heels of Kanye’s sexual assault allegations in the form of a distraction. Kanye’s charges are quite serious at the moment since he’s been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting his former assistant.
Lauren Pisciotta worked for Kanye from 2021 until 2022, but according to her, her experience under his employment was completely toxic. As of now, a lot of attention is on Kanye for all the wrong reasons, especially since people are comparing him to Diddy, who’s also facing criminal charges.
