Why Mariah Carey Is Allegedly Turning To ‘Booze’
There’s a lot to appreciate about Mariah Carey‘s career as a musician. Many people would argue that the music world wouldn’t be the same without her influence. The first song she released in the 1990s was called “Vision of Love,” and it did well. Things have been full steam ahead since then for the talented artist. But, is it true that she’s currently turning to booze to make herself feel better in the midst of some hardships she’s been facing? Here’s what Mariah‘s fans should know about her current situation.
Rumors About Mariah Carey’s Alcohol Consumption
According to Life & Style, a source has come forward to share details about Mariah‘s current state of mind. Mariah‘s mother and estranged sister both died on the same day earlier this year, and Mariah is still in the midst of grieving their passings. To make matters worse, she’s also been hit with a lawsuit from her brother, which has resulted in some hefty court bills. The source described Mariah‘s situation, saying:
She can’t even grieve properly because the dark cloud of this defamation suit is hovering over her. Mariah thinks her brother Morgan is being vindictive and out to get her. She has the weight of the world on her shoulders right now, or so it seems to her.
They went on to describe her alcohol consumption saying:
Mariah can’t take it, so she’s turning to the only ‘medicine’ that works: booze. She’s spending a fortune on her defense, money she doesn’t really have, and is scared to death of depositions and all the intrusive questions. But her methods of coping have friends worried she’s digging a deeper hole for herself. Mariah doesn’t manage well when faced with difficult situations.
Mariah Carey’s Financial Status
One thing that’s a bit questionable is regarding the amount of money Mariah is spending. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she’s doing just fine with a whopping net worth of $350 million. On top of that, Mariah always rakes in loads of money around the holiday season thanks to her Christmas banger “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Around the holidays, people start blasting Mariah’s song over and over to get into a more festive mood and spirit.
It’s one of the most common Christmas songs to play at parties, shopping malls, inside elevators, and more. The yearly success of “All I Want For Christmas Is You“ is fabulous when it comes to earning potential for Mariah. The Economist estimates that she pulls in about $2.5 million every year from just the one song alone.
