‘Survivor’ 47 Brings Major Shakeup, Shocking New Twist
Season 47 of Survivor is well underway. The first four episodes have been very exciting. The most recent episode includes a huge blindside for contestants. Previews of upcoming episodes feature major tribal shakeups. The castaways have pulled off the first major upsets and the tribes will see major restructuring.
Exciting Plot Twist
Genevieve Mushaluk talked Rome Cooney and Sol Yi into working together. The pair had been at odds for the majority of Season 47. During the fourth tribal council Genevieve, Rome, and Sol voted out Kishan Patel. Because of their teamwork, the trio managed to pull off the blindside of the season. It has been hinted that the tribes will be getting shaken up during Episode 5 and fans are eager to see the new tribe dynamics after Lavo becomes defunct.
As revealed by Survivor host Jeff Probst there is a shocking new twist to come for the 14 remaining Survivor players. Survivor 47, Episode 5 debuts on Wednesday, October 16. During the preview, Jeff tells the tribe members that a new surprise is to come, and the castaways do not seem to be excited to add a new component to the game. Most of them displayed negative reactions.
CBS posted a synopsis of the upcoming surprise episode and they said “The fallout from tribal council leaves one castaway feeling like they are on the outs. During the reward challenge, tribes must shoot their shot to land a win and earn an advantage.” Exciting new things are coming.
New Tribes
CBS teased that Episode 5 will feature a tribe shake-up, and previews of the newest episodes suggest that the three tribes will be transforming into 2 tribes. However, it was unclear if this shift was just for a challenge or until the merge. Indeed, castaways are shown wearing new buffs. A look at the new Tuku tribe shows that Rome and Sol are still together, and they are not sporting their usual red buffs, but instead a blue buff.
The next preview shows the new tribe Gata tribe, in fact, Gata is shown sporting new yellow buffs. Seven castaways are shown competing hard during the newest challenge. Lavo appeared to be done as no castaways wore red buffs.
Survivor fans are not happy with the way that Season 47 is playing out. They are upset with Rome and have posted on social media, and fans have called Rome a “Bully”. They are upset with his actions towards Sol during the fourth episode.
