Jason Tartick For ‘Bachelor’ 2026 After Kat Stickler Split?
Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick is single once again after splitting from Kat Stickler. Could he be the Bachelor in 2026? Keep reading to find out what’s fueling the speculation.
Kat Stickler Confirms Break Up
Jason Tartick’s dating life has been extraordinarily public for half a decade. Bachelor Nation viewers first him when he was a contestant on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. The corporate banker put his career on hold to find love in reality TV in 2018. He ended up in third place after she sent him home before their Overnight Date. He came back to ask for a second chance, but she said no.
He went on to meet Season 11 Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe in late 2018. The two dated for four years and were engaged for two years before ending their relationship in 2023. Jason Tartick went Instagram official with his new love, Kat Stickler, in April after weeks of dating rumors.
Kat Stickler took to her Instagram over the weekend to confirm that the relationship was over after six months. He also confirmed it with a lengthy social media post.
Jason Tartick For Bachelor 2026?
Jason Tartick was allegedly campaigning to be the Season 23 Bachelor. The role ultimately went to Colton Underwood, who was also on Becca’s Bachelorette season.
After leaving Becca’s season brokenhearted, Jason Tartick left his corporate job and focused on becoming a social media influencer specializing in finance. He said on his Trading Secrets podcast in January that he would be open to being the next Bachelor.
Bachelor Nation fans took to Reddit to encourage the network to consider him for the 2026 season. Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette contestant Grant Ellis has already been named the Season 29 Bachelor to air in 2025.
- “He wants to be the bachelor so bad.”
- “Maybe the bachelor offered him the role or he’s hoping for it”
- “jason is going to be the next bachelor”
- “Calling it now: Jason is gonna be Bachelor 2026.”
One fan even wrote, “Oh he definitely wants that. He seemed deflated when Pilot Pete talked about being on Traitors. He wants to be back on tv so badly.
Jason Tartick, 35, joked that he’s too old for the flagship Bachelor show. He’s also too young to be the next Golden Bachelor. However, the Season 6 Bachelor, Byron Velvick, was 40. Nick Viall was 36 when he was the Bachelor in 2016.
What do you think of the idea of Jason as the Bachelor for 2026? Should the network consider him? Sound off in the comments.
