'Bringing Up Bates' Mama Jane Recovering After Cancer Scare

Bringing Up Bates star Kelly Jo Bates is back with a worrying update about Mama Jane. Members of the Bates family have been taking turns visiting their grandparents in South Carolina. This comes after Papa Bill began to experience dementia symptoms. But it seems Mama Jane’s condition is getting much worse as she gets diagnosed with cancer. Bringing Up Bates: Papa Bill Suffers From Dementia Symptoms

Earlier this year, Gil and Kelly Jo began bringing their children to Mama Jane and Papa Bill’s farm more than usual. Carlin then uploaded a vlog revealing that Papa Bill’s dementia is getting worse. The Bringing Up Bates star even shared an emotional clip of herself after Papa Bill forgot who she was and she had to introduce herself again.

Alyssa also travels to South Carolina for her grandparents. But she goes to the farm without her family, creating speculations that there is drama brewing between the siblings. It also appears that the Bates kids will visit their grandparents more following Kelly Jo’s shocking update.

Mama Jane Diagnosed With Cancer?

In an Instagram post, Kelly Jo Bates shared pictures with Mama Jane, who has a bandage on the side of her nose. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she had a wonderful week at the farm. She was also there to look after Mama Jane, who’s now recovering after surgery.

Kelly Jo revealed that cancer was removed from Mama Jane’s nose, and it was her second surgery. “She’s healing nicely, but we would covet your prayers that it’s all removed & that no more surgery will be needed… and also a prayer for healing of her back! Thank you again for showing our family so much love!” she added.

Bringing Up Bates: Kelly Jo Bates Sends Sympathy For Hurricane Milton Victims

Aside from Mama Jane, Kelly Jo also took to Instagram to show sympathy to all the victims of Hurricane Milton in Florida. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, they’ve been praying for the ongoing work and recovery after the devastation of Hurricane Milton. She has also uploaded clips and pictures of her kids helping out, especially members of the Mediccorps. Meanwhile, Alyssa stated that they only suffered minor damage in Florida, but they’re still on high alert.
