‘Oak Island’ Season 12 Premiere Date Revealed
Fans have been patiently awaiting the return of The Curse Of Oak Island on The History Channel. Now, the premiere date for season 12 has finally been revealed. Here is everything you need to know.
When Is The New Season Of Oak Island Coming Out?
The History Channel has been keeping people guessing as to when the next season of The Curse Of Oak Island will appear on the small screen again. However, recent videos have been surfacing online detailing when fans can expect to see a new season air.
Some fans recently took to Reddit to discuss when the next season would air. “When is Oak Island scheduled to come back on?” one person asked.
Another person commented with a link to a YouTube video that teases what will happen in season 12. According to the clip shared, Season 12 of The Curse Of Oak Island will premiere on The History Channel on Tuesday, November 12.
Several people chimed in with their guesses for the premiere as well.
- “Usually in November the annoyance and hate watching shall commence once again,” one Reddit user wrote.
- Another joked, “I shall stock up on Crown and have my liver checked forthwith.”
- “I DVR them and just watch in a big binge around early April. The show is much more palatable that way,” a third person suggested.
The confirmation of Season 12 of The Curse Of Oak Island isn’t just a rumor though. In mid-September, the official Facebook page for the show shared the teaser, revealing that it would, in fact, be released on November 12.
The End Of The Curse Of Oak Island Coming Soon?
While there are some people looking forward to seeing another season of drama unfold, there are some who are tired of seeing Oak Island play out on screen. Several fans have stated that they believe the show should be canceled. They pointed out that there may have been something of value buried in Oak Island at this point, but Rick should “accept defeat” and “throw in the towel.”
Others are eager to see what unfolds in the first episodes of the new season, with several offering up guesses. One person on Reddit wrote, “Will Dr. Gazpacho make a reappearance? Are they going to reprise the ‘[dump truck-sized] load of silver?’ The tunnel that was ‘mostly missing?’ I assume the first five episodes will be pumping out the Garden Shaft again. They’ll go back to the swamp and dig some mud pies?”
All the teaser trailer reveals is that the group will continue to search and dig for treasure on Oak Island. Will this be the season they finally find something? Only time will tell.

To those that are putting down Oak Island and its cast because they haven’t found a “truckload of silver” , feeling the show should be cancelled, I wonder…do you not have feeling for history? Do you not find interest in the mystery of archeology or the extreme value of so many items that have been found to this point?
Treasure is not just something you pull out of a hole and use to live the high life. Gold and silver aside I sincerely believe that these hunters will not quit til they realize an understanding of the history and mystery that are Oak Islane.
Would be a good idea to take your bulldozer and empty money bags elsewhere.
It’s a fabulous show which has unearthed so much information regarding the history of not just potentially buried treasure and where it may have come from and by who was involved and how they got it to Oak Island, but also how it has impacted the history of the entire Maritime area. I am enjoying the finds no matter how small or insignificant some of them are they do tell a story. It is fascinating to me that hundreds of years later these dedicated researchers and treasure hunters (although I don’t like using that phrase to describe the Lagina brother’s and their team) have dedicated themselves, for more than 12 years, to discover the secrets about how the Island was used. They should be commended for attempting to solve this mystery of who, why, what, and when ths happened and what may be there and the responsible way they are conducting themselves while doing this. The use of all kinds of different historians, astrologers, astroarcheologists, mining technology, and researchers of all types to explain what went on there is the real story within the story. Keep going boys. Watching the show is the only way to pass a Sunday evening during the winter months in Canada. Good luck. Lets go!
