Dr. Now recently took to social media to share a new healthcare product. The My 600-lb Life star endorsed a portable Automated External Defibrillator, which is critical for life-saving situations. Many were also stunned by Dr. Now’s fresh and glowing look. It appears the bariatric surgeon is resorting to promotion amid speculation that he’s about to hang up his scalpel. In addition to that, Dr. Now also makes extra income by making personalized videos on Cameo.
Dr. Now Shuts Down Negative Allegations About His Career
In an Instagram post, Dr. Now shared a clip of himself calling out the false allegations he’s been receiving throughout his career. One of them is about taking patients that are only above 600 pounds. According to the My 600-lb Life star, he accepts patients who want to shed pounds no matter their weight. He also shuts down rumors that he only performs bariatric surgeries, adding that he also specializes in GLP-1 Agonist, lipo shots, medications, behavioral changes, and nutrition management.
