‘GH’ Kelly Monaco Breaks Silence On Final Scene
General Hospital star, Kelly Monaco is breaking her silence on her final scene with the television family she has come to know and love. The actress was let go from the hit soap opera in August 2024 and fans have been heartbroken. So, what does this last scene look like and what does Kelly have to say? Kelly Monaco Breaks Silence On Final Scene
This is not the scene anyone wants to watch because it means that Kelly Monaco is officially done. She has played. She has played Sam McCall on General Hospital for twenty-one years and has become a fan favorite. Furthermore, she danced her way into viewers’ hearts on the premiere season of DWTS. So, she has amassed a plethora of fans during her career and they are not happy with her exiting the show. She has hinted that her firing was retaliation but that has been deleted.
Time will tell if Kelly will reveal what has transpired behind the firing but for now, fans are taking the time to appreciate her presence. They are curious to see how her character will go as rumors have swirled she will be killed off. Now, Kelly is breaking her silence with a sneak peek of her final scene via Instagram. She is seated with her television family, including soap mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Kelly is donning a black turtleneck and jeans with the caption:
“Last scene with the Davis girls. 😘🥲🙏🏻 still doesn’t make any sense to me.”
Clearly, Kelly, like the viewers, is still trying to make sense of the nonsensical firing.

Many have taken to her social media as well as her co-stars to share the hashtag #IStandWithKelly. At the same time, they are trying to get other soap operas to hire Kelly Monaco so she can still be seen daily. That does not appear to be something she is interested in just yet.
Big Mistake
After Kelly Monaco shared her final scene with her General Hospital family, followers immediately headed to the comment section. They wanted to let her know this was an epic mistake from GH:
- This whole thing is so disappointing. Watching Sam’s character disappear the last few years has been frustrating to us fans, and I can only imagine much worse for Kelly. Hard to keep watching GH with her exit
- Doesn’t make sense to us either. Been a fan of yours since day one. GH made a HUGE MISTAKE! Won’t be the same without you. 💔💔💔
- I do not understand their logic behind this or with many of their decisions lately . Are they trying to run the show into the ground ?
