Anna Delvey Roasted After Dragging ‘DWTS’ Experience

One of the many contestants for Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars was Anna Delvey. She was also the first celebrity to be eliminated from the season. Since she was cut she’s had a lot to say about her experience, and her remarks are not being well received. Read on to find out what happened.

Anna Delvey’s Viral Remark

During her elimination episode, Anna was greeted by co-host Julianne Hough to talk about her DWTS journey.

This exit interview is the show’s tradition and is usually the part when the star says that they are grateful for the opportunity and had a great time. Delvey, though, had a different approach.

When Hough asked her what she took away from her DWTS journey, she simply replied with the words “nothing” and didn’t say anything else.

Her blunt remark quickly became the most viral moment of the season thus far. It was also just the beginning of her tirade about her experience on the show.

After returning home, she was a guest on Tori Spelling‘s podcast, which makes sense since the two were both eliminated in the same episode.

During her segment, she did not hold back on her thoughts. The ex-con doubled down on her “nothing” comment, admitting that she stands by it. She also said that in her opinion, she was a great dancer.

Anna’s Alleged Battle With Production

Anna didn’t just stop at her podcast episode with Tori. Delvey went on to release a statement to NBC News, accusing the DWTS production team of setting her up to fail.

“It was predatory of them to try [to] make me feel inadequate and stupid all while I did get progressively better yet they chose to disregard that,” she ranted.

While none of the crew members have responded just yet, a supposed insider has come forward.

The source claimed that Delvey’s comments have turned some of the network’s executives against her and that her words are coming off as “desperate” behavior. It’s unclear if a lawsuit from either side is in the works.

Needless to say, Anna is probably not going to be featured on another ABC project in the near future.

DWTS Fans Aren’t On Anna’s Side

DWTS producers aren’t the only ones who are fed up with Anna’s consistent negative comments about her on-screen journey.

In a Reddit thread, the show’s viewers shared their thoughts on Delvey, and most are excited that she’s been eliminated from the season.

Now, fans are just wanting her to stop talking about it so that they can watch the rest of Season 33 in peace. Here are a few of the comments:
