‘Unexpected’ Jason & Kylen Share Big Baby News
Former Unexpected stars, Jason Korpi and Kylen Smith have a huge baby announcement to share. The two were the most controversial cast members of Season 5, maybe the entire series. Unexpected Jason & Kylen Share Big Baby News
Right off the bat, Unexpected viewers did not care for Jason Korpi. He and Kylen Smith were both about to become teenage parents but he was the problem. Jason was extremely controlling of everything Kylen did and even kept her estranged from her parents. She had gone to stay with him during her pregnancy but he was the one calling the shots. More so, his parents enabled his bad behavior. Kylen expressed she wanted an epidural but Jason refused. He believed their child would come out stoned and sick.
Viewers and even their co-stars could not stand him and it was expressed all over social media. There were questions as to why TLC allowed Jason to get airtime. When Kylen did go into labor, Jason was eventually thrown out due to unnecessary stress. He then caused a scene at the tell-all and left early. She followed as she was under his spell and seemed to defend his bad behavior. For extra cash, they posted a clickbait sonogram on Instagram, though it did not apply to them. Now, three years after their son, Xavier’s birth, the couple has big news.

Kylen Smith and Jason Korpi are parents again, according to @tlc.unexpectedteaa. The Unexpected alums welcomed a baby girl, Oakley Renae which was shared in Jason’s Instagram story. Kylen can be seen holding Oakley while Xavier looks on at his new baby sister who has a full head of beautiful dark hair. The new mother can also be seen smiling as she holds her new baby so maybe things are better than they were in the past.
Many Questions
It was said that harsh comments would be deleted so that made it very hard for followers to say how they really felt. However, some still were able to get in a few digs at the Unexpected couple:
- Was she allowed epidural this time
- I’m genuinely surprised she’s still alive
- Hopefully he was considerably better this experience than the last one.
- I just pray she finds the courage to get herself and her children out of this situation one day. Genuinely concerned for her safety especially how isolated she is.
Some hoped Kylen would see how much she was worth through her daughter and find a way out of the situation. They feel that Jason is not worth her time and she deserves so much better. Fans have not seen them interact in some time so no one knows what things are like as of now. Hopefully, it is far better than when they first got together.
