Savannah Chrisley’s Shocking Claims Against Sentencing Judge

Savannah Chrisley in Instagram rant

Savannah Chrisley has seemingly put her parents in hot water with her words recently. Many people believe that Savannah’s mouth has caused some problems for her mom, Julie Chrisley, in the prison system. Now, she’s slamming the sentencing judge and prosecution online. Continue reading to see what fans think about Savannah’s latest rant.

Savannah Chrisley Calls Prosecution ‘Uneducated’ Following Resentencing

Over the weekend, Savannah took to Instagram to share a video of herself talking about her mother’s recent resentencing hearing. Julie Chrisley appeared in an Atlanta courtroom last week to be resentenced. However, the judge deemed her original sentence of seven years to be sufficient for the crimes in question.

There were plenty of signs that this would be the case before the judge handed the new sentence down. The government even suggested that the judge uphold the original sentence before the hearing date. Despite that, Savannah Chrisley continued to hope for the best.

When her mom didn’t receive any kind of reduction, the Chrisley Knows Best star was obviously upset, but what made her even angrier was that the judge seemed to be making personal remarks in court.

Outside the courthouse, Savannah and the family attorney, Alex Little, addressed what happened. Apparently, the judge made several comments directed at Savannah, the television show, the podcast, and the kids (Chloe and Grayson Chrisley). Savannah went on to call the judge and prosecution “uneducated” and claimed they would continue to appeal the court’s decision.

Savannah Isn’t Done Ranting About Injustice Yet

In her latest video on Instagram, Savannah talks about the resentencing hearing once again. She goes on a bit of a rant. In the clip, she says that it was a “hard pill to swallow” hearing that her mother’s original sentence was upheld.

On top of that, Savannah Chrisley pointed out that the overall amount that Julie was responsible for was shown to be reduced from 17 million to 4.7 million. Most people would think that would result in a reduction in her sentence, but that’s not how things played out in court.

Savannah went on to say that she was “in shock” when the judge began commenting on the television show and accusing her of not caring for the kids’ emotional well-being. She said that she is going to continue to fight corruption in the system because she has nothing left to lose at this point. In the caption, she wrote, “Thank you for loving and standing by us. The fight is not over.”

Many people think that Savannah’s constant public remarks about the justice system may be having an impact on Julie’s experience. It was just revealed that she’d have to take the long route back to custody after leaving Atlanta.

One person took to Reddit to discuss her latest rant. “This time she is, again, going after the judge in the resentencing hearing! Stating the judge is uneducated and that Fulton County is causing the problem,” they wrote.

While many of the comments on Savannah’s Instagram are supportive, Reddit users weren’t so nice.

  • “lol yes I’m sure the judge is not nearly as educated with the court system as Savannah,” one person commented.
  • Another wrote, “It’s not lost on me she is plotting and scheming; this is the same behavior that led to her parents downfall. She is playing a dangerous game that will backfire eventually.”

  1. She is right about the Justice system but she is making it worse on her mother making all the remarks and posts on social media I understand what she thinks and is talking about but it would be best for her mom if she would just keep some of the comments to herself because it is going to backfire and it’s not going to backfire on her it’s going to on her parents and it’s not going to be good at all I have been to prison and I have seen the torture and the misery they put on inmates because of the family and the repercussions aren’t good at all so sassy better watch what she says and just fight silently That’s her best bet

    1. I wished I had ten minutes to set down with her! All she does is wine! Had they thought about this before they did the crimes maybe they wouldn’t be where they are. I have read the entire case and they are where they belong. Thank god the judge was not one of those who allowed fame to get in the way. And stop with the prison reform bs! Before now her or her family cared less about anyone in prison. Todd bragged every chance he had about all that money he had when the truth was it really wasn’t his to spend. Savanna thought they could buy their way out of this. and Julie should have been made to show up! she is no better than any other prisoner that has to show up for court. Also, the bs about having to raise her siblings. We’ll again her parent’s should have thought about all this. How about all the kids who don’t have family to care for them setting back in a mansion with a nice bank account. Its rough when you’re famous and treated fair huh! The only decent one is her sister! Also she is really making things worse everytime she opens her mouth to speak. She comes off like a bully.

  2. How sad that we now find ourselves in a country with liberal judges who use their position to met out revenge on people who speak the truth- it’s truly sick.

    1. How sad folks like you & Savannah think family & people you like shouldn’t have to pay for their crimes by going to prison.

  3. Savanah has fought a tough fight. But, at this point I think she really is doing more harm than good. Antagonizing the whole court system that’s involved isn’t going to make things easier for her parents. It’s already been proven. She needs to step back from the podiums and microphones, and let the attorneys do their jobs from here on…

    1. She is! when you stand in front of the whole world and bully a judge there is something wrong with her. She could have disagreed with the decision but to come out and act like she did was uncalled for. And the judge was right! They should have never mislead those kids. I bet if Julie and Todd was released today! either of them nor savanna would be talking about prison reformed or even trying to help others. If anyone reads the case like I have its clearly the Chrisleys were quilty as charged. I think its great that these judges are not allowing these famous people to walk! They need to be taught they are not above the law. She also using the kids saying they need their parents? so does all the other kids who their parent’s who went to prison. I believe the only reason she showed up for trump cause if he gets elected she will ask him to pardon them.

  4. Savannah is correct in fighting for her family and their rights. This seem to be turning into a personal vendetta against Savannah, instead of the matter at hand. Which is Julie. She would not have been sent back for resentencing if it were not warranted. The system is making an example out of the Chrisley’s. They are not the first people to have done this same thing. These people were also sent to much nicer places. I agree this is not fair!! Julie has to only do half of her sentence before she is eligible for parole. So I say hang in there Julie and Savanna you continue to fight. The prison system does need so adjustments.
