‘Mama June’ Josh Efird Reveals Who Real Cheater Was
Mama June Shannon’s former son-in-law, Josh Efird is revealing who the real cheater was in his marriage to Pumpkin Efird. She started seeing someone as soon as she filed for divorce, if not before. Yet, Josh allegedly was seeing Keely Miller so there were a lot of questions. Fortunately, Josh is setting the record straight. Keep reading for all of the details.
Josh Efird Reveals Who Real Cheater Was
When Pumpkin filed for divorce from Josh Efird on August 1st, fans were shocked. This was extremely unexpected as they had been together for nearly a decade and married for six years. Plus, they shared four children and appeared relatively happy. After Pumpkin’s sister, Anna Cardwell passed, Josh was very worried about his wife and her mental health. He had never seen her that low and was nervous she might not bounce back. Then, the season ended and their marriage was over. Rumors circulated that she had been unfaithful. It came out that she had cheated with Josh’s cousin, Darrin Kitchens starting in April.
This allegedly happened right after Josh and Darrin’s grandmother passed away so that added to the poor taste of the situation. As for the woman Josh had been seeing, Keely Miller, she was pregnant but it was not his baby. Rather she was supposedly carrying Darrin’s child so there was a lot to unpack with all of this. As for Darrin and Pumpkin have been showing off their love since the divorce filing, even traveling together. Now that the divorce is finalized, Josh has confirmed that Pumpkin was the one who was unfaithful first.
A Reddit thread picked up a screenshot, originally from TikTok. It seems that Pumpkin stepped out on Josh Efird and he claims that she did not give a “f*ck” before she filed. He added that she still does not care what she is doing which is clear as she and Darrin have posted cryptic messages on their social media. They seem to be aimed at Josh which fans do not care for.
Anybody Shocked?
After seeing the proof that Pumpkin Efird cheated first, was anybody shocked by Josh Efird’s revelation? Or, did they expect this all along?

Of course, Pumpkin was compared to Mama June. At the same time, followers were concerned for Josh and Pumpkin’s children. They did not want them to see this someday down the line. Additionally, they were frustrated with whomever Josh was speaking to and the need they had to share this private information.

It genuinely hurts my heart that Josh and Pumpkin split. They definitely needed instruction on things, such as car seats and proper usage, but I thought they hung on to each other to give their children when Pumpkin never had; a happy childhood.
In today’s world it is so much more easier for everyone to not take their marriage vows seriously. I was married at a young age. I had children. All marriages face troubles and hard times but you do it together and turn to each other, not run at the first sign of hardship. I do not believe Ms. Shannon when she said she has cried over Josh, she has begged him. Total BS! If that were the case, we would have seen it on the show. Josh in fact gave Pumpkin everything she asked for! And he even helped her start her business! Just remember- he sent her to cooking school as well. She is the one who lost a good man. Josh dust yourself off, keep being a great dad, don’t fall for any stupid fighting from any of the other side. Do stay in touch with Alana- afterall you were a true dad to her as well! And find you a godly woman that believes in forever and not the next shiny new thang that walks in. We know what Pumkin..er Ms. Shannon is all about even with her putting her mom down, she is in fact worse than her! Her mom is blind but honey her eyes are wide open. We see her!
