The Hallmark is premiering the Three Wise Men And A Baby sequel for Countdown To Christmas 2024. What is this movie about? According to TV Insider, “This story begins five years later with the Brenner brothers preparing for another memorable Christmas.”
“In a crazy turn of events, possibly brought on accidentally by the brothers themselves, the director of Luke’s son Thomas’ school holiday musical steps down. Luke is desperate to make his son’s stage dreams come true, so he enlists the help of his brothers Taylor and Stephan. Meanwhile, the trio navigates meeting their mom Barbara’s new boyfriend and the brothers grapple with their own feelings about this relationship. In true Brenner brother fashion, they are all in for a Christmas they never forget.”

Paul Campbell Shared That First Movie Was A Risk
Recently, Paul Campbell spoke to the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast. The Hallmark Hunk was asked about Three Wise Men And A Baby. First, Paul revealed that their original idea was a non-Christmas movie. They thought of a movie with Tyler Hynes and Andrew Walker in a Hallmark version of Three Men and a Baby. Ironically, Hallmark also thought a Three Men and a Baby reimagining at Christmas was a good idea. Soon, Paul and Kimberley Sustad went to work and created a fantastic script.
However, focusing on the Brennen brothers instead of the traditional network romance was a risk. But, the risk was worth it.
