Will Julianne Hough Marry Another Man After Bisexuality Reveal?

When Julianne Hough first came out of the closet nearly five years ago, it was a big deal in the pop culture world. She had a history of dating men, including Zack Wilson, Chuck Wicks, Dane Cook, Ryan Seacrest, and Ari Sandel. Eventually, she married former hockey player Brooks Laich. Since her dating history has never included any women, the realization that she was sexually fluid certainly surprised many of her fans. Most recently, she’s opened up about the gender she believes she’ll end up with someday.

Julianne Hough Believes She’ll End Up With A Man

On September 23, Julianne opened up about her love life on the Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast. She said, “I feel like I’m going to end up with a man. I want to be living and vibrating in the pace of my most authentic self for that to be what attracts whoever it is versus I’m gonna put what I think I want and need out there and then literally force-create it.”

Julianne and Brooks’s marriage didn’t last, but it wasn’t because of her revelation about her sexuality. In 2020, Brooks to Us Weekly about it saying that Julianne’s “beautiful” truth inspired him to be a better human being. He also noted that he always accepted her “heart.” Even though he seemed super supportive of her at the time, their marriage still crumbled. They split later that year in 2020, with everything finalizing in 2022. Julianne further went into detail about her search for true love on the podcast saying:

“People are like, ‘Well, what are you looking for?’ And I was like, ‘I’m a master manifestor. I don’t want to put out exactly what I think I want because I will get that.’ There are certain feelings that I want to feel in a relationship and there are certain qualities and values that are important to me [and] certain nonnegotiables.”

So, although Julianne might be single right now, that doesn’t mean she intends to stay that way forever. In Julianne’s heart of hearts, it simply seems more likely she’ll end up married to a man someday, even if she doesn’t identify as being completely straight. Her willingness to be so honest about this topic is a huge reason fans think of her as such a relatable star.

Brooks has moved on and is currently dating a woman named Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir. Dating rumors sparked between them in 2020 when fans noticed them liking each other’s pics on Instagram. They didn’t hard launch the relationship until 2021 with pics of their lovey-dovey trip to Hawaii together.
