Kylie and Jordyn used to be the best of friends back in the day before a messy scandal involving NBA star Tristan Thompson caused it all to fall apart. Kylie‘s latest compliment towards Jordyn serves as proof that their friendship is moving in the right direction, once again.

In celebration of her 27th birthday, Jordyn shared a gorgeous photo of herself wearing a shimmery gold mini-dress. The PrettyLittleThing model accessorized with strappy golden heels, a gold chain link necklace, and almond-shaped acrylic nails. She rocked a beautiful blonde hair that was voluminous and bright.

Jordyn completed the look with a face of pristine makeup that included eyeliner, highlighter, and a nude shade of lipstick. She added a caption that said “Chapter 27″ with a yellow heart emoji before tagging all the people who helped her look together. She tagged the photographer, the hairstylist, the makeup Artist, the fashion stylist, and the brand where she purchased her shoes.

The top-liked comment on Jordyn‘s post came straight from Kylie. The youngest Jenner sister wrote, “Hot! Happy birthday!” Kylie had tons of extra exclamation points along with a white heart emoji. Kylie’s comment pulled in more than 5,600 likes from fans who seemingly love to see the rekindling of Kylie and Jordyn’s long-lost friendship taking place in real time.

Based on how complimentary Kylie’s been toward Jordyn on Instagram these days, it’s hard to believe there was ever any issues between the former besties. The truth of the matter is that the drama between them was actually pretty serious! Jordyn revealed that she kissed Tristan at a party while he was still in a relationship with Kylie’s older sister, Khloe Kardashian.

Khloe ended up calling it quits with Tristan at the time and Kylie heavily distanced herself from Jordyn as well. That was a big deal for Kylie and Jordyn because they fully lived together when the cheating scandal occurred. Some fans of the Kardashian-Jenner clan called for Jordyn to get “canceled” by the media. Others were more forgiving of Jordan because they felt like Tristan should’ve been the only person to take the heat.

Regardless of everything that went down back then, it’s clear that Kylie and Jordyn have decided to let bygones be bygones.
