‘Mama June’ Anna Cardwell’s Ex Gets Married Amid Custody Loss
Mama June’s former son-in-law and Anna Cardwell’s ex-husband, Michael Cardwell has tied the knot amid his custody loss. He and his fiancee, London Smith were really hopeful that they would have Kaitlyn for this momentous occasion. Unfortunately, things did not work out the way that they had hoped. Still, the show must go on, so Michael and London celebrated their love in the best way possible. Keep reading for all of the details.
Anna Cardwell’s Ex Gets Married Amid Custody Loss
It has been a rough nine months and a half months since Anna Cardwell passed away. With no firm custody plan set in place for her eldest daughter, Kaitlyn, Mama June came in and took over. Then, Anna’s ex-husband, Michael Cardwell filed for custody of Kaitlyn. He had custody of their daughter, Kylee and now he hoped to get Kaitlyn, as well. Michael maintained that he was like a father to her, paid for her education, and spent a lot of time with Kaitlyn despite the divorce. More so, it seemed appropriate to keep the sisters together as they were mourning the loss of their mother.
Kaitlyn ended up writing a letter stating she wanted to stay with Mama June. Plus, June alleged Michael had been abusive and Kaitlyn was scared to be taken from her grandma. In the end, June was granted custody of her granddaughter and it was a huge blow to Michael and London who loved her and had a lot of hope. Despite all of this, they were planning their wedding so the show had to go on. Over the weekend, the couple tied the knot, with Kylee looking simply precious.

London, now a Cardwell, shared photos of the big day on her Facebook and she made a beautiful bride. Kylee looked on and was beaming to be a part of this beautiful occasion. The last wedding she attended was her late mother, Anna Cardwell’s intimate backyard nuptials to Eldridge Toney. This was very different as it was much more lavish and special as Kylee danced with her new bonus mom. Sadly, it does not appear that Kaitlyn was there.
A Momentous Occassion
Despite the sad custody loss, Michael and London Cardwell celebrated and made the absolute best of their day. Followers immediately headed to Reddit to chat about the sweet photos, especially of London and Kylee:

- Didn’t even let Kaitlyn attend her dad’s wedding…..wow. it’s actually horrible how June is trying to straight up cut Michael out of Kaitlyn’s life. Even though she (unfortunately) has custody, she should still be allowing Kaitlyn to have visitation with Michael and London, or at least spend time with her sister often. That’s just common sense.

i think Kaitlynn is happy with her grandma and should be with her grandma and if they’re so bad then why do y’all all watch? Mind ya damn business. Kylee and Kaitlynn do see each other and what makes mama June so bad as to protecting her granddaughter and Michael is NOT her daddy!!!! Noone knows who her dad is so stfu and mind ya business and leave these people alone and furthermore, y’all all need to learn the definition of beg, because neither mama June nor Alana has begged anyone for anything! They simply ask for help finding a home or place to live. They have their own money and can pay their own way. All you supposedly grown people are downright stupid because y’all all misconstrue what’s said and always got something to say yet y’all all watch their show! Two faced is what that is. Grow tf up already!
