Amy Slaton’s Arrest Brings Issues To Light
A source recently told In Touch Weekly that Amy Slaton started struggling with a number of different problems since she first appeared on television. They essentially said that the cameras and fame magnified issues, like her bipolar disorder. Over time, it became too much for her to handle.
“Now drugs are complicating things,” the insider told the publication, referring to Amy’s recent arrest. As we previously reported, the TLC star was brought into police custody after authorities were called to Safari Park in Tennessee.
An employee called 911 to report a guest being bitten by a camel. However, when police arrived, they said there were suspicious smells coming from Amy’s car. Upon further investigation, they found her to be in possession of Schedule I and Schedule IV drugs.
Amy’s two young children were also in the car, along with her friend Brian Lovvorn. She was charged with drug possession and child endangerment. This seems to be all of Amy’s problems coming to a head.
“Everyone in Amy’s life is petrified she’ll be six feet under unless something drastic happens,” the source told In Touch. “It does look very dark and deadly.” Now, there are rumors that they are working to stage an intervention for Amy Slaton.
