LeAnn Rimes Doesn’t Regret Eddie Cibrian Affair

Country superstar and actress, LeAnn Rimes admits she does not regret her affair with actor, Eddie Cibrian. At the time they met, he was married to RHOBH alum, Brandi Glanville. LeAnn Rimes Doesn’t Regret Eddie Cibrian Affair

Eddie Cibrian struggled to stay faithful to his then-model wife, Brandi Glanville. The two tied the knot in 2001 but he ended up having an affair with Scheana Shay of Vanderpump Rules fame. Since she worked at RHOBH star, Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, Villa Rosa, she did appear on the hit Bravo series. More so, Scheana crossed paths with Brandi and the two sat down and finally chatted about the affair. Scheana shared that she had no idea Eddie was married with two children and that he bought her jewelry, and treated her like she was the only one for him.

Brandi cared very little for Scheana’s sob story and it was not the first and certainly not the last of Eddie’s infidelities. He and LeAnn Rimes met on the 2009 set of the film, Northern Lights. She was also married but they could not fight the connection. Eddie and Brandi divorced in 2010 and he married LeAnn in 2011. It was not easy and they did not work well together as a team but eventually blended for the sake of Eddie and Brandi’s sons, Jake and Mason. Now, LeAnn is opening up about the affair and how she does not regret it at all.

According to The Sun, after fifteen years together, the couple remains very much in love and happy together. Hence why it was all worth it in the long run. However, it did not happen overnight that there was acceptance and she felt okay with her decision:

“It takes a long time. The kids were two and six when I first met them. They were young and it took a good three or four years to settle into things. And then, when people stopped writing crazy s**t about us, it was finally like we could just live quietly. People aren’t following us all the time any more. It’s been a really long time, but it also feels like yesterday at the same time.”

Now, LeAnn Rimes admits that they have “earned it” and truly believes that it was all worth it:

 “Obviously there was purpose [to how they got together]. We have a great life.”

Own Reality

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian had a short-lived reality series but she maintains that is all in the past. In fact, she feels that their lives are more exciting when they film themselves on a whim:

“You can share and you don’t need cameras following you 24/7. I think people get more of our personalities now from the stupid s**t that we post.”

LeAnn is currently using her musical expertise as a coach on The Voice UK after doing the Australian version. She is enjoying her life and has finally moved past the idea of being a mistress. Whether or not everyone else has completely given up the moniker is unclear.
