'The Challenge' Fans Blast MTV For Deleting Heated CT Scene

The Challenge fans came together to mourn the elimination of GOAT CT Tamburello in the most recent episode. In response, MTV gifted them what they referred to as a “deleted” scene from Season 40, Battle of the Eras. But fan’s response to the new clip may not have been what the network had in mind.

MTV Releases Unseen Footage Of The Challenge Season 40

At the start of the video, CT is seen standing up and walking away from his confessional. “For the record, I hope we’re not gonna try to make the bus video a thing because I don’t wanna talk about it,” he said, leaving in front of the green screen. The video shifts to show the cast on a bus, presumably from a night out in Vietnam because they are dressed in street clothes.

Rachel Robinson says Theo Campbell is notorious for putting his feet up on the seat on every bus ride. Adding, “Well, not tonight because CT’s sitting in the back seat, and he decides he’s had it.” The footage gets a little out of focus, but CT and Theo can clearly be heard yelling at each other.

“Talk to your boss. Talk to your boss, bro,” CT shouts. “What are you talking about?” Theo yells back. “You get permission to stand up?” CT repeatedly yells at Theo on the bus. “You’re sitting like a little baby,” the five-time champion tells him. “What? What? I’m right here, you little b***h!” CT screams, also calling Theo a “p***y” as castmates tell him to stop.

Theo Campbell Says He’s ‘Not Scared’ Of The 5-Time Champ

When CT first started appearing on The Challenge, he was known as sort of a hothead who even got sent home for fighting. True fans remember him screaming at Adam, “I will smash his head and eat it!”

In the clip, seven-time champ Johnny Bananas mentions, “It’s been a while since we’ve seen this version of CT.”

As for Theo, he downplayed the whole incident, saying, “I’m not really scared of CT, so I’m gonna let him do his thing and show everyone who CT is and still has that dog in him. If I have to be on the receiving end of that, then do your thing, G.

On the bus, CT giggles, “That moment right there is gonna live so rent-free in [Theo’s] head.”

The Challenge Fans Cannot Believe MTV Chose To Delete The Scene

While it is not known if the bus throwdown happened on Episode 5, it had to have happened during CT’s participation in Season 40. Regardless of when the fight happened, fans could not believe MTV’s production team chose not to air such a juicy moment.

“@TheChallenge, your editing team SUCKS bc why would yall cut this,” one fan questioned in the comments. Another added, “Why tf they cut this shout….”

“Why did they cut this out? Now CT is gone. By the way, this reminds me of when CT checked Jordan on the bus on Free Agents,” a third wondered.

“There’s no reason this shouldn’t have made the actual ep. CUT THE DAILIES SHORTER,” a fourth suggested.

MTV also received criticism this week for airing a highly edited version of a fight between Laurel Stucky and Cara Maria Sorbello.
