Review: Tape Face Of ‘AGT’ At MGM Grand Las Vegas

While in Las Vegas it is hard to decide what shows to check out. On a recent trip, we decided on Tape Face at the MGM Grand. He is from America’s Got Talent and did a great job on this show. This was actually our second time to see him. We brought the family along on this trip and enjoyed it so much the first time we decided to bring them along.

Tape Face’s Show

This show is hilarious for a guy that doesn’t even speak. Tape Face is a mime and has tape over his mouth so he doesn’t talk the entire show. You would think that would be hard to make you laugh, but he does a great job of it. If you are shy, this might not be the show for you. This one is full of audience interaction as he brings people up on the stage for the entire act. Be prepared to be called out and brought on stage. It happened to me the first time we went, but not this second time.

What To Expect At The Show

This show is not kid friendly with a few inappropriate jokes now and then, but they also might not catch on to them. We didn’t have any children at our show, but they are allowed. This is a very small theater with chairs and a few booths. If you think sitting in the back will save you from being brought on stage, think again. He walks through the entire audience to select people.

You can expect the same hilarious acts that you saw on America’s Got Talent from Tape Face, plus a few new ones. The show we saw a couple years ago had a lot of the same acts as this time, so he doesn’t change it up much. The thing is he always has someone new on stage with him so the act is different every single time. He will have people trying to hit ping pong balls with a golf club, dancing away and even shooting balloons with a stapler. If you are headed to Las Vegas, this show is one you do not want to miss! Tape Face is hilarious even tough he doesn’t say one word during the show.
