Trolls Target Tori Spelling Following 'DWTS' Season Premiere

Tori Spelling made her debut on Dancing With The Stars on September 17, 2024, during the Season 33 premiere. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum was bombarded with hate from trolls online. The haters had plenty of comments on Tori’s latest look. Tori was partnered with dancing pro Pasha Pashkov. Thankfully Tori’s fans came to her rescue and had many positive things to say.

Tori Spelling Was Compared To A Muppet

Internet trolls were quick to criticize Tori’s body. Despite Tori’s toned muscular arms and trim stomach trolls criticized the actress and reality star’s “puffy” face. Others commented that Tori was looking too slim. Trolls even compared the 51-year-old actress to the Muppet Janice. On X was person commented “Loving Tori spelling on DWTS this season!! #DWTS”, paired with the comment was a photo of the blonde hippy singer Muppet.

Many of the trolls focused on Tori’s lips stating that they were puffy. It was Tori’s lips that trolls seemed to compare to a Muppet. Tori was also compared to the Nickelodeon cartoon Mr. Meaty. One X user wrote, “Listen I’m all for people doing what they want to make themselves feel their best but Tori Spelling looks like Mr. Meaty”. Some X users had issues with the cosmetic surgery procedures that Tori has undergone. One troll commented, “Tori Spelling might be 87% plastic at this point”. Trolls also attacked Tori’s body stating that she “desperately needs to eat…A LOT!!”.

Fans Back Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling has a loyal fan base and they were quick to come to the star’s defense. Fans were disappointed in Tori’s low-performance score. Fans believed that Tori performed better than the other competitors, despite their disappointment in Tori’s scores fans were quick to come to her defense. One fan wrote, “I adore @torispelling leave her body alone! America STOP BODY SHAMING”. It is obscene that in 2024 people still think they have the right to speak negatively about other people’s bodies. One fan wrote “Already seeing people body shaming Tori Spelling in the #DWTS hashtag. Not cool! It’s 2024, time to knock it off with talking about how somebody looks and their body”.

Tori Admits To Use Of Ozempic

Earlier this year Tori Spelling admitted to utilizing the diabetes drug Ozempic to lose weight. Tori stated that she used the drug after the birth of her child. Tori stated that she switched to the medication Mounjaro to lose weight quicker because the drug Ozempic did not work for her. Spelling turned to weight loss medications after she struggled to lose weight following the birth of her son Beau. On her podcast ‘misSpelling’ Tori stated that she “couldn’t lose” the baby weight. It is unclear if Tori continued to use these medications during her DWTS debut.
