‘Big Brother’ Julie Chen Shares Big Health Update

Julie Chen finally made her way back to the Big Brother house last night. Upon her return, she shared a health update and in turn, got a massive round of applause. Keep reading to learn more about Julie’s return to Big Brother.

Julie Chen Back On Big Brother

Last week, fans found out that Julie Chen was not going to be hosting the show because, unfortunately, she had come down with Covid.

“Unfortunately, I am still testing positive as of this morning… despite feeling good, strong and my cough being gone, I must sit tonight’s ‘Big Brother’ live eviction show out,” Julie wrote on Instagram last week. “I hope Jerry fits into my dress, has a ball and tells the houseguests I miss them but will be watching from home. See? Chenbot is human after all!”

However, fans seemed elated to see her return this week Deadline reports. This comes as no surprise as Julie tends to be a fan favorite and has basically never taken an eviction night off from hosting.

“I’m baaaaack,” Julie said as soon as the cameras started rolling last night.

Needless to say, the crowd burst into applause. Julie seemed quite happy with the praise saying “Thank you!”

She continued by adding “And I am Covid free. Thank you God.”

Thankfully it seems Julie Chen is totally okay and fully recovered from her stint with COVID.

What Does She Think Of The Season?

Of course, since she is so involved in the show as the host, Julie has an opinion on the game. So, who does she think is doing the best this season so far? She’s voting for controversial player, Angela.

While Angela has made a lot of friends in the house, rumors have been swirling about her outside the house. This includes a theory that Angela was a plant put in the house by production. Julie though, seems to think Angela is the only houseguest who is really playing the game.

“She plays the game!” Julie say about Angela. “Every angle of it, and it’s working for her! But I also think Chelsie has a nice résumé. She’s smart. She gets it. She sees what happening in the house and she knows how to pivot when needed. But she needs to channel her inner Auntie Julie Chenbot side and remove her romantic feelings for Cam from the game. It’s clouding her vision too much and taking her eye off the prize!”
