Kelly Ripa idolizes Lisa Rinna’s relationship with her kids. Ripa has openly spoken about the things she wishes she could change about her relationship with her children. Though, it seems Rinna has the life she wants.

Kelly Ripa In The Spotlight

Kelly Ripa is best known for her TV show, Live With Kelly and Ryan which she had with Ryan Seacrest before he left and then it became, Live With Kelly and Mark. Even though they still use the mugs from the old name, Ripa picked up as nothing happened once Seacrest exited and it surely makes it easier that her co-host is her husband, Mark Consuelos.

Their show airs weekdays on ABC. As it makes sense that parents would, Kelly and Mark often discuss their children. Now, the whole world, or anyone who cared to listen, knows that Kelly has had some issues in the parenting department.

Furthermore, Ripa is proof that being famous does not exclude you from the everyday parent struggles. Ripa’s children with Mark are Michael, Lola, and Joaquin Consuelos and they no longer live at home. Ripa has made it clear that her children are not too happy to be acknowledged by their parents.

In a recent interview, Ripa explained that she has been blocked by her kids from accessing and commenting on their social media. According to Entertainment Tonight, if Ripa comments on her children’s posts too frequently, she will be blocked for some time.

About the blocking, Ripa told Entertainment Tonight that, “then, the ban gets lifted, and I’m reinstated. But I’m like ‘Why can’t you guys be like other kids on social media? They happily allow their parents in there.'”

Lisa Rinna Has It All

Ripa seems to be very jealous of other parents’ relationships with their children such as her friend, Lisa Rinna. Rinna is often featured dancing in her daughters, Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Gray Hamlin’s TikTok videos.

Ripa wishes she could have this as Rinna isn’t blocked by her children and they are so unembarrassed by her that they post her on their accounts. Ripa explained in the interview, “Lisa Rinna’s girls do TikTok videos with her. And not that I want to be in a TikTok, but can I be on your TikTok?”

Ripa’s recent comment of “stunning” on her daughter’s singing video might even warrant her another temporary blocking. Though the children come home every once in a while, it seems they want out more than in. Maybe one day Ripa will get what Rinna has with her children, but it doesn’t seem too likely for the immediate future.

Mark seems to see things from the other side as E! News reported that he said, “Each kid, through different periods of time in their lives, go through a stage like, ‘Don’t talk about us or I’d rather not be a subject.” Additionally, he made it clear that he, “respects that.”
