DWTS Season 33 Introduces This Year’s Troupe

The troupe used to be an integral part of Dancing With The Stars. It went away during the pandemic and has been used intermittently in the following seasons.

Season 33 will indeed feature a troupe and fans are over the moon about the talented performers.

“Troupe is back! 🤩 Please help us welcome Marcquet, Stephani, Kailyn, and Roman to the #DWTS family. 💖” the official Dancing With The Stars Instagram account shared. Many expressed disappointment that Alexis Warr wouldn’t rejoin the troupe, but felt positive about the four dancers who made the cut.

First-time pro Ezra Sosa felt incredibly excited about the newcomers, as Stephani Sosa is his older sister.

THATS MY SISTER!!!!! 🥹🥹🥹” he wrote in the comments. From the Chmerkovskiys to the Arnolds, DWTS fans have always enjoyed seeing siblings compete. Many viewers are ecstatic to have two Sosas in the ballroom too.

US Weekly got the inside scoop of each troupe member. There’s quite a bit of professional dance experience with this bunch — and many are So You Think You Can Dance alums.

Like many of the pro dancers, Marcquet Hill hails from Utah and excels in ballroom dance. He competed on SYTYCD Season 11 and went on to work with Selena Gomez and Kali Uchis.

As previously noted, Stephani Sosa is Ezra Sosa’s older sister and also comes from Utah. She finished in the top nine on SYTYCD Season 16 with her brother and went on to star in several live dancing performances. Stephani even performed with Billie Eilish at Coachella.

Roman Nevinchanyi competed on the Ukrainian version of SYTYCD before appearing in Season 18 of the American version. Since Season 18 aired not long ago, many viewers are eager to see him land a major dance role so soon.
